Yeah it does seem pretty odd that only one of the starters out of the 6 regions can utilize the stones.

I hope all Pokemon's final stages can use the stone...but that would more than double the whole Pokedex for this new region.
So, I guess it might just be certain Pokemon. Hopefully, Pokemon who stink stat wise (like Meganium) could use the stone.

Am getting quite sure that the starters will all get Mega Evolutions. Would be quite unfair if they would only give Blaziken and a few others a Mega Evolution.

Yeah, that bothered me too. It's not even the starter that needs it the most.

I hope all pokemon's final stages can use the stone...but that would more than double the whole pokedex for this new region. So, i guess it might just be certain pokemon. Hopefully pokemon who stink stat wise like Meganium could use the stone.

IIRC isn't it just a temporary transformation? So I don't think it would affect the Pokedex.

I agree, My guess is that all the starters (because at this point i don't know how would anyone obtain Torchic through a normal run through of the game without trading.(Maybe someone gives it to you who knows))
and a handful of selected pokemon will be able too.

That is a good point they could be just considered minor forms like the different Rotoms or Darminatan's Zen Mode.

I HOPE. I can see it happening a month or two before launch on 3DS and Wii U. Nintendo has been pretty consistent putting up demos for their upcoming games.

I don't think it would be a major distraction.
