If I ever get a 3DS, I'll definitely pick up Pokémon X.

Question, was Mario born in Italy, and then lived in Brooklyn? Or should we indeed assume Yoshi raised him?
Yoshi was born in raise in Dinosaur Compton.
A place so cruel they eat more babies than your average prostitute.

Like New York: "China Town"? Or China Town: "China Town"
Also thought this was pretty cool:

Doesn't matter. Chinese eat everything, including unborn babies.

So apparently the Pink hero in Wonderful 101 is a Bayonetta wannabe.

So if we did get Wonder Red we'd also get a Bayonetta wannabe that's into whips. :troll:

Mega Raikou, Suicune and Entei to. I'd like more fusions of Pokémon as well. As say, Ho-Oh and Lugia. Groudon and Kyogre (**** this ****, I'm outta here), Latios and Latias. Or have a common Mega Evolution for groups of Pokémon, say, Raikou, Suicune, Entei and Regirock, Regice and Registeel.

A Mega version of Regirock, Registeel and Regice would be epic.

But are their bodies re-(narrowly avoids getting shot)

ALRIGHT ALRIGHT GEEZ. I WON'T FINISH THE PUN.

Can you imagine a fused versoin of the three of them?

Is the Wonderful 101 Direct being broadcast at the standard Nintendo Direct link? I'm just curious to see if they add a character from it to Smash.

Said this in the W101 Thread but:
I kind of doubt the addition of any Wonderful 101 characters.
When has there ever been a Nintendo/2nd Party character that has made it into Super Smash Bros. right after their first game installment?
And even when you think about the characters that have only one game under their belt, those characters have been around for Nintendo for quite sometime (NES and/or SNES).

Nintendo already ruled out the possibilities of anything else:

Mega-Rhyperior looking like an actual rhino instead of a fat mole PLEASE OH PLEASE OH PLEASE
Mega-Entei being an actual God damn LION
Mega-Raikou being a thunder tiger of extreme, lean lethality
Mega-Donphan only if he's an actual gaint elephant

I'm actually already estatic by Mewtwo, Lucario and Blaziken getting them. They look awesome as ****. Especially Lucario, which is a fast improvement.

Well, there's a first time for everything. Besides, you have to look at this from what the character(s) can provide playstyle wise, not how old they are. Remember debunking the relevancy argument goes both ways.

And that link says nothing really. It just says to stay tuned for a special announcement.

I doubt it... The Wonderful 101 hasn't earned a character spot on the Smash roster yet.

Pikmin and Animal Crossing both came out in 2001... the same year Melee came out... but by the time Brawl came around, both series earned a character spot on the Smash roster (Villager was planned for Brawl after all).

They earned that character spot because both franchises proved to be popular and successful... popular by gaining huge fanbases... successful by printing lots of money for Nintendo. The Wonderful 101 haven't done that yet.

True, there is always a first time for everything. And I'm sure their play-style can very unique the same way hoe Characters like Olimar have play-styles that harken back to his franchise.
But my argument isn't a matter of relevancy, seeing how characters like Ice Climbers, who only received one game, weren't "relevant" either when Melee rolled around.

My point being that the number of games a character/series has under its belt shouldn't be a decisive factor. We had Lucas who only has one game, Ike had only one (during Brawl's development), and freaking Roy had zero at the time of his placement into the roster.

As for 2nd party characters, you could probably make the argument for Pikachu and Jigglypuff. They only had one big game at the time of their Smash debut, Pokemon Red/Blue/Green.

Kinda sad that we are watching Wonderful 101 mainly to see if a Wonderful 101 character is in SSB4 instead of watching it for the game itself.

It's a matter of a franchise proving itself to the masses. I think the game is way too new to have a character make it into smash. For all we know, by now Sakurai and Co. have a roster locked down.

When Smash 64 came out Pokemon R/B/G was a hit and the special Yellow version was released around the same time as 64 was released I believe.
As for Lucas, the character may be new but the franchise has been around since 1994 and created a following. Similar to how the Pokemon series and Fire Emblem series have received new characters (Ike, Pichu, Mewtwo, Lucario) around the time of a new smash.
