your general advice, in my opinion, was good.
but about missile spamming, no.

Falcon has so many options to break the missiles and still hit you.
+ Falcon is too fast.
he can punish samus out of pretty much anything except jab and cancelled missile.

I was too lazy to make a post, but now, I am bored and not yet going to bed.

as Andrew metioned, DI. DI DI.
learn to DI correct on different moves + depending on your %.

you use fair too much.
for edgegaurding do not your fair. it is not very effective.

don't stay on the edge too much against chracters who I am listing below.
fox, falco, falcon, ganon, peach, ICs and marth.

for sheik, roy, mario/doc, and luigi, maybe, but still I recommend you to get back on to the stage as soon as possible.
I maybe forgot some characters, but in general, samus doesn't really have good edge-to-stage options.

against faster characters, be aggressive and stay close (overall).
against slower characters, be defensive - concentrate on your spacing the most.
(this implies about missile usage. hope you understand the meaning insdie)


more jabs, more ftilt.

learn to edgegaurd better. not to be mean, but your edgegaurding is not good.
develop that.
you should not let a falcon get back on the stage that easily.

learn to upB out of shield.
it is definitely the most important technique for samus to perform.
although, this is not too effective on FD. - if your opponent DIs out, he/she will land before you.
using the fact you cannot fall through a platform right after you get hit,
as long as you are near platform, use it.


hm, other than those,
it will be all personal style difference, so I won't talk too much about it.

Trail, you are like a BROther to us all. We don't even mind that you play such a stupid, BROken character. Because no one here at Purdue uses them, you help us BROaden our matchup knowledge.
Every time I BROwse smashboards, I laugh when I read your posts. It's sad that you won't be able to travel much anymore, but we're glad that you BROught the pain at SMYM. Maybe once you're a cop and busting down BROthels in Chicago, the next time you visit Purdue it'll have a cluBROom for the smashers to hang out in.
Or maybe you won't be cool enough to have a patrol gig, and instead be pushing a BROom around on janitorial duty. Meh, either way, I'm sure you'll cause some ridiculous BROuhaha that we'll hear about. I wish I was still at Purdue to chill with you when you go to visit, but I'm stuck in this lowBROw area of Memphis watching computer nerds fail at working with simple suBROutines. Thanks for the advice maus I actually do know how to upb out of shield and edge guard falcon I wasnt playing my best that set (NO JOHNs) alot of time i wasnt trying to fair for edge guarding i was trying to nair falcon still punishes for jump cancled missles

well, fair instead of nair often happens.

what you can do is, just find a spot where you can cover your opponent's recovery trajectory with your nair, and wait there and just jump to nair.
you don't really have to move so much.

also, Fsmash, Ftilt, Utilt, Charge shot, Missile, bair and dair are your other options to edgeguard. use all of your available means.


also... unless you are playing against fox, falco or peach,
when your opponent lands on the ground after the upB.
DO ANYTHING THAT YOU WANT TO DO.

I saw you let falcon back on the stage and not punishing.

Edit: I assumed Dylan's spelling of "Voorhees" was correct and that the other guy misspelled it. Oh what a fool I have been.
