It's not really to try out, you seem to have improved a lot according to my brother but I haven't played you in a pretty long time. I just want to confirm it. Also, are you working too late on Fridays or something now? I see you show up either too late at the weeklys, or you do but don't enter....if you can then start entering.

I do not go to the weeklies nor do I play anymore. I work a lot so I dont have anyone willing to play with me at 1230 at night sunday - thursday.

Either way I come by then I can since I have friday and saturday off. For those days I am with Cristin.

Beyond that I was banned at the store for helping with the weeklies when I came by one day so ya.




Honestly I wanna train and get better but I just dont know who to play with. To me the game is pretty simple, much like 3rd strike, and I love playing it.






Also, I kinda would like you guys to take a look at rockin and let him in the crew. He is my friend and beyond that he deserves, for once, a group of people that do not treat him like **** or take advantage of him. I can vouche for him as a person and he is also a good help to any crew.



Also here are my tips for your crew :



- Change your name. Part of the reason I laugh at this thread is the Phoenix Era name. I mean call yourselves Phoenix. Do not let Doc. or anyone add era cause it only brings up memories of Dpch and him pretending to be a girl on smashboards to make himself look better and all the things he did. Be a crew as SEPARATE from IE as possible.

- Know your resources. Ok simple here you have TWO professional illustrators in your crew. Cristin ( Crismas ) and Vlad ( Jumpman ) have them build WEBSITES, BANNERS, SIGS, and whatever else you need. Not only that but you already know that you have people willing to have meetings their houses and even smashfests.

- Plan regional/majors ahead of time. If your going out to NJ ( I know I rib Snake and Shadow for this each chance I get ) or any other state be sure you plan ahead!. I know I am just saying common sense knowledge but always have a set time to leave and a set time to go home. You all already know how good you are with NY so go play with other states and get better. This goes for everyone. I know most of you can travel so give it a shot it did WONDERS for Vanz and others I know.



As far as anything else like running tournaments and such. Since cristin is in this crew Smash Suits will give 100% help to you guys. Beyond that you are, so far, the least arrogant and *****iest crew out there to me and Jayoyeah so thats why I kinda am "active" more with you guys.

lol well crew lets not add Era to it i kno how yah feel but alex is kinda correct even thoe i was the real leader of IE, we are a new crew, stronger and better we cant be connected to IE since it had some bad times that made it look real bad while some were good

Well Doc. I do not mean to interrupt but from other people as well as looking at you in general you rarely appear at all.

As far as the weeklies I was the one that instilled the $5 fee when I first worked there but when I left they stopped enforcing it until recently when I spoke with the new managers. No offense but this is not a free place its a company and if you want to play...pay the fee.

For a place I am not in the crew but the GF is so whenever you want to use my place for meetings go ahead. Its easy to get to and shin and company know how to use it. Give me a date and I'll will make sure. Just do not forget smash suits in AMERICA.


Thats my opinion but if you want crew advice I'll post later.

Well, as your brother heard, I'll be quitting my job on June 2nd (was gonna be this week, but my assistant manager needs a bit of help, so I felt bad and decided to keep going till the 2nd.) So for now, I'll be entering weeklies as best as I can. I'll be sure to find a job that won't affect my comings of weeklies (cause apparantly, Brawl/Melee is too good)

Oh yeah, as for me coming to this saturday, it's a no, unfortunatly. One of the employee's relative passed away last week (which was the same week I was quitting) and she's attending to her funeral, so I'll be doing a double shift on that day. I'll be there tomorrow though...

What other matters?

I do not mind adding something to phoenix but Era is just such a bad history. You guys want a fresh start not a name that will constantly have you being looked at from the past. They will see Era and associate you with very bad and emo things.

I was going to suggest some names but it is really up to you.

Some are cheesy but they have a really good backstory ( sorry if I am suggesting too much )


In Marvel comics there is a group called Alpha Flight which is a Canadian version of X-Men for the most part. One suggestion is naming yourselves Phoenix Flyght. The only issue I see with that is the rhyming of Phoenix Wright but, to me, it does not sound too bad.

Here are other suggestions

- Phoenix Guage : based on the concept that everyone here is a different skill level and based on a move I saw in an anime. Besides saying your in PG sounds kinda kewler then PE aka phys ed.

- Phoenix Royale : watched king of bandit jing too much here

- Phoenix - its not that bad with just the one name. its simple, to the point, a few people like it that way, and not to mention, its about rebuilding from where the ashes lay and creating something new and 100% better.

Heh thanks,a nd we definitely have at least 4 that I'm confident in for a crew battle right now, but the thing is having them all show up at the same event.

Alex, I'll definitely think about those names and other names, but Shin is actually right. We have to think about our crew battle tomorrow at the moment.
