Especially considering Nairo said yesterday that he has played Komo over 3-5 times in tournament but has never played Ranai.

I think it's pretty *****ng outstanding that Regi has legitimately a good shot at getting Top 8 winners.
Beating VoiD won't be easy but he can certainly do it, the winner of Vinnie vs Mr.E may vary, i think Vinnie would be easier because Marth/G&W is a very tricky matchup.

Ehhh, if you really really wanna pick hairs, imo only Game and Watch, Pit and Robin are the only "weird" characters there. A weird top 32 would be like, Jigglypuff, Zard, and Zelda chilling there too.

Nah this one is pretty normal. There is always one out of place character. Regi got top 32 at another massive event, wasn't it Evo 2015 last year with G dub?

So really, in all narrowing down, to me Robin is the only weird be up there. Maybe Pit but Robin is considered lower mid...

The rest of the characters there kind of define the current meta.

Lack of Diddy's though per normal standards.

I'm happy with the success that Marth players are having in this tournament. It's also interesting to see Mewtwo appearing more than once; he's definitely a threat on the rise.
