Loser of Ranai vs Nairo will have to play the loser of Abadango vs Larry eventually, which basically means that one of them can not place better than 25th [or 17th?]. That's the roughest.

cyve got DQt out of winners because Tweek played Earth even though he had to play cyve first and TO's decided to DQ cyve instead.
Evo Organisation is a meme

I just realized, both the players in grand finals of CEO 2016 are out before top 32

This game is crazy....

Zero consistency is actually terrible from a purely competitive point of view.

Dabuz, Larry, Abadango, Hyuga, and Mr. R are the only consistent top players left, it seems. Everyone else has taken some random losses.

What about Abadango and Hyuga?
They're overall pretty consistent. I'm pretty sure they've had games taken off them though.

Those 3 haven't fought many top players themselves, so we'll see how it turns out.

Just a reminder to not double post TDK TDK

Starting the day off with Regi vs VoiD, VoiD up by 1 game right now.

EDIT: Other results:

Ito > K9
Trela > ESAM
ZeRo > Hyuga

And VoiD wins 2-0. Quick set.

Even if it's incredibly unlikely, the thought of two Mewtwos in EVO top 8 is pretty exciting.

AAAAND Nairo is sent to Losers. Ranai goes to face Abadango.

Great match from the both of them.

OK, so we've already guaranteed 1 Japanese player in top 8.

Sad to see a missed input determine the outcome of a game, but Ally takes it.

Ito got an unfair shake, 2 top 5 players eliminating him. He done do Cali proud.
