does this mean that we'll be seeing you at the tournament on sunday

or does the fact that scar never goes extend to you too
Odds are I'll be too busy getting moved in/set up for my job that I won't go Sunday. I am going to try to go to just about every other tourney in Norcal that I can find a ride for.

I finally got Cameron to play Braid!! If you haven't played it, it's about as good as Portal (maybe a little better, definitely harder)

Yo dog weed aint no 'trips drug'

and yeah brian let's trip balls this summer then. I don't have any hooks in norcal though, so you may have to find it.
Get better weed. Cannabis is def psychedelic anyone who says otherwise doesn't smoke great bud.

If you have no connects (psychedelics) I suggest looking into RC's such as 2c-i or other 2c analogs. Which is legal to distribute in the US.

This summer will be boring...just working out to get in shape. Maybe start programming again.

Yeah but if someone wants to 'trip out' you wouldn't tell them to smoke weed. I don't hallucinate, although supposedly some people claim to. And trust me, the quality of my bud is superb.

Depends what you classify as tripping I suppose. Weed of course does not make you hallucinate, but a dominant sativa strain will produce similar effects (Skunk #1 x Mazar is a great strain for example).

For me as well weed hasn't made me 'trip' but it can for sure. If I am looking to trip I would rather just buy some cid.

i was thinking about the season 2 finale and the reasons i didn't like it

spoilers
earlier, when he blew up tuco's building, and again with the scene with the car bouncing up and down in the desert, they foreshadowed it with the scenes in the beginning. this was cool because they actually delivered, and with the teddy bear it seemed like they were gonna die or something. obviously you could tell that neither walt nor jessie were really gonna be in those bodybags (my guess is it's just dead people that fell from the plane or something), but jesus christ they built up to it so much. i was thinking "please don't let this be some random ****" but then it was.

what statement are they trying to get across? the randomness of walt's situation? why try to bring fate in so late to the game (and in such an understated way), especially when the episode before was SO powerful!? they could've ended the season beautifully with walt coming to inhabit his new character as a drug lord and dealing with immorality, while he watched the girl die. that scene was perfect. of course, i can understand them wanting to take his character in a new direction. the dad crashing the planes either on purpose/not on purpose was just kind of weird, and not really believable imo.

i'm not really disappointed that the writers didn't deliver something neatly bundled up, like a climactic shootout or something cheesy, but i don't think there was any real message that got across the way things ended. obviously walt needed to live, and there's some significance to be had with the cancer remission, but it didn't feel explored at all. what's the purpose behind undercutting walt's character? his new family man image, being so easily blackmailed by jessie, not even having the common sense to tell saul to slow down with putting money into the paypal account? there were a lot of loose ends. wtf with a plane crash? are they just trying to leave things WIDE open for the start of season 3? seems like a Lost move =\
the only thing i can think of is that they're setting up for something even bigger, but i'm not satisfied with the way they ended season 2.

of course i'm gonna keep watching, and if there are any dumb things i said that get resolved later just ignore them. it's just such a weird note to end on, i hope they straighten it out in a big way later.

and adam, i would really like to read that article you mentioned :)

i usually go to the gym on campus cuz it's free and close, but Mission Gorge, Santee, and a few local lakes have some good out door stuff. Not to mention Mesa Rim just opened (largest indoor climbing gym in north america) so that's legit too.

do you climb often joe? I'd be totally down to set up a camping trip to j-tree if we can find a couple of people to go. I'll bring the tents.

how is that any different if it wasn't random bull****? then it's the same thing that every show does and i could have the same complaint. all they did was left **** open to interpretation; it's up to the viewer to assume from there. im glad they didnt take the ***** way out.

the dad crashing the planes either on purpose/not on purpose was just kind of weird, and not really believable imo.
the fact that it IS believable is what made it so great. everything is intertwined; the immoral actions walt takes to make money for his family impacts people he never thought possible. that is the theme and it is a theme revisited in season 3.

the only thing i can think of is that they're setting up for something even bigger
they are / just did. last couple of episodes have been incredible. it's really saved what has otherwise been a mediocre season three.

had a ***** in LA

.........i dodged her

had a ***** in San Deigo

.........i charged her
LMAO haha that's awesome

pat!! joshua tree sounds amazing, i've always wanted to go there. i climb like 2-3 times a week up here. if you know anybody with crash pads/bouldering experience that would be awesome (i have shoes, a chalk bag and harness). either way, camping sounds super legit, i'm down!! :)

thanks for that article, although i dislike the whole theme of cosmic judgment/butterfly effect on a personal level. i feel like it takes me out of the show, i wanted a more personal ending that dealt with the characters more, where the effects of their actions come to bear on them with more realistic consequences. that's just a matter of personal aesthetics though. "Lucifer ex machina" :dizzy::dizzy::dizzy: it's corny but i'll get over it.

it makes sense that they're setting up for season 3, though. i've heard it's building up really great right now, eager to get into it.

I'm not a little kid :/ and I didn't know you went to raves.

Kinetic Field is where I'm gonna be light shows and shuffling all day.

@ Sheridan
I doubt you're going since you cant drive and don't like drugs. But if you do go I will give you a light show haha

joe: i work at a surf shop/outdoor recreation rental shack so i'd have us covered for the crash pads and camping gear. i only climb around once a week, so i'm still pretty new at it (around V3-V4).

we just need to find a day over summer where it's not ridiculously hot at Joshua Tree and take a carpool of smashers up for a day or 2.
