okay so tell me how
Space aerials as best you can its makes its harder for peach to hit you. Look out for dash attack though. Needle camp her run away unless your comboing.Look to hit her after she does something or throw more needles. Grab when you can and f tilt slap and look for your next opportunity to hit. If she slaps your shield you can shield grab the first one if your quick enough. Edge guarding back air is just to much for her to handle. At lower percents dont use your tilts to much when peach is on the ground your gonna get hurt for it. Space aerials needles and grab to rack up quick damage

Your generaly gonna camp and look for your chance to strike. Again space well and hit her as you see fit and you should do ok. Use platforms for movement also helps in my experience(nicely space isai droped b airs are so nice). Alot peaches love to down smash on platforms. Play patient and **** that ****! Sheik gets away with alot of stuff this match but peach can perform well still.
Probably. But those two are still better at it. And if you're looking for auto-win, you're generally better going with the best character against the subject in question.

Hello everyone. Just a Sheik player trying to go above the ranks lol.

Could someone give me tips against Spacies? Right now they are the ones giving me the most grief.

If this is answered in a thread or in a post please direct me to it and I am sorry for posting a question thats probably been asked 40 times.

My ability to make it to APEX has been severely infringed upon. Someone else booked that weekend off several months before I even applied there, and they can't afford to have two stockboys off that weekend.

Feels bad man.

I'm so furious I'm going to double post.

Fox: pick your fights carefully, sometimes it's good to just run away and try to get breathing room so you can plan your next action and get some spacing going. When you grab, learn the tech animations so you can react to them and kill him. Focus on hitting the tech stand and non-techs initially, as they're the hardest. WD back F-tilt. Do not F-tilt at point blank. Contrive to have good spacing in close combat at all times. Fair and Bair are great defensively. CC grab and D-smash are your friends.

B-throw Bair, B-throw run off DJ Nair, and B-throw WD off Bair are the staple gimp setups. B-throw F-tilt and B-throw wait are powerful additions to those. Remember to react properly if you're going to wait a bit.

Falco: SH Nair OoS if you think he's going to approach after a laser and you have some space. Waveland onto platforms and then drop through with Fair, or WD back Fair off the platform. SH FF Fair is also good, SH Fair and SH Bair are good in general vs space animals. Same grab stuff. For gimps don't do B-throw run off DJ Nair much because Falco's immediate DJ Dair kills you if you try that. Instead do more stuff like B-throw immediate Bair, or B-throw wait. If he lasers super hard just get on a platform and chill for a bit, see if he's willing to FJ lasers at you or whatever. If he does, either throw some charged up needles at him (take 3%, do like 10-17%) or dash off the platform, FF, waveland, and try to close distance really fast (doesn't work on Dreamland). If you can Uair Falco because he's being ******** on a platform, do it because it combos and stuff.

Against pillar style pressure WD OoS is good. If they do Multishines and Shinegrabs and other bull**** that wrecks WD OoS, then hold the shield or roll. If you can predict the Shinegrab you can sidestep grab it.

kk, ask someone to fill in for you. im sure someone could work a double or use their off day
They're severely understaffed right now because they cracked down on lateness heavily. I already asked about that. Mace Bindu suggested he cover me, but he's apparently supposed to cover the other guy, and Frito can't work Saturday because of his dying mom or something. And Max Powers has a delicate social life that he won't sacrifice for the greater good (APEX).

edit: Some names were changed to protect the innocent.

I have the worst Marth ever.

Just give me strategies to try out against mediocre Peaches. :(
You're an IC. And you can Blobble to 60%. And WD really fast OoS. And have the tech skill to desynch. Just go Fox and push B a lot and when she tries to do scary float Fairs you kick her in the face and do a big combo. And then dash dance into drills if she tries to do down smash or attack into your dash dance with her dash attack. If you shield dash attacks, U-smash OoS, don't bother with U-throw shit because it doesn't work half the time because of DI whereas U-smash always works.

If you're determined to go Sheik, be grounded vs her ground style and wait for her to do the first thing always. Then punish it if you can. Don't jump first unless you have a nice platform to go to and / or the space to do it.

F-tilt beats her low, ground Nairs and Bairs if you space and time. If she floats mid or whatever with those, you can Fair them or Bair them. You can also dash dance grab some of these; even if she's lagless, she's still slow and can sometimes telegraph her landing site.

Bair can stuff her Fair before her arc finishes but be careful doing so. Sometimes just get the hell out of the way.

WDing down OoS after she D-smashes your shield or WDing into her is good, but you have to be careful and watch for jabs and more D-smashes. If you WD down and they sidestep or D-smash you get a free grab. Sometimes they roll or something though so you need to go into them to chase that. And sometimes you can directly punish them if you move into them because they only land the first hit of the D-smash on your shield. You have to get comfortable with that kind of movement and get a feel for when they're punishable.

D-throw F-tilt on DI away. Dash under her and block, if she Nairs you get another grab. After a while they'll stop Nairing so you switch to D-throw F-tilt Fair. If they DI behind, U-tilt from like 0-3% and then after that you combo Uair --> moves.

If they try to pull turnips from really far away, throw single needle so they drop it. If they go on platforms to pull it, they're on a platform, just spam aerials.

When she's dash dancing around trying to dash attack then shield grab it. Her grab range is tiny and she needs to get close to land FC aerials and stuff, so you can move back or expand your shield to be pushed too far for certain pressure follows.

That and whatever Nicaboy said.

Edit: Thanks, that helps a lot. What should I be doing while I'm waiting for her to commit? From a neutral position should I always try to stay grounded, or is it safe to space and bait with b-airs?

I used to think that jumping around with Bair (and Fairs) was 222 gud but then Vanz just dashes and Nairs the crappy part of Sheik's Bair and if it trades he takes 5% and I take 14%. If he beats it, he beats it, and I probably get comboed because he's that kind of guy.

I think you should mostly just move. Peach is slow. See if you can make her attack prematurely.

Throwing a needle from a platform into run off Fair or just dancing around the stage is good too. That's more of a Plank thing though so you should ask him about it. I'm not nearly as good at camping as Plank is -- not even close.

Oh yes. That also ***** jumps. Don't jump unless she lets you IMO.

Sheik can't move back when she jumps. Not far enough to dodge Peach super lunge, anyway. Sheik's dash and wavedash CAN move back enough to beat super lunge though, so we have to take advantage of this.

The Avatar movie was terrible. It did not follow the show that well imo and made the storyline WAAAAY too serious.

Toy Story 3 on the other hand was probably the best movie to come out in like... 2 years.
