It's gotta be in this thread a few pages back...crouching helps, space your bairs really good, DI toward the marths when they throw you...

And back throw them off the edge, hit them once, grab the edge, restore invincibility, they have no choice but to get edgehogged or rested after they dolphin thru you. you can edgehop - rest them after they dolphin onto the stage.

BTW, Chu's Ice Climbers ***** me hard....I need some advice against chu

yep i thought bairs wouldn't work very well. He kept jabbing me to grab.

but yeah. That was my 2nd time ever playing him, and like my 3rd time playing any IC player in tournament period, including chu lol.

Hungrybox, the secret to beating IC is Mute City.

Brinstar is also acceptable.

okay, question about brinstar. what the hell is that big cocoon-like thing in the background? there is nothing in super metroid like that. i've been wondering for the longest time.

It's not so much that the acid melts their icy powers so much as it is that Nana doesn't double jump intelligently when she's caught in the acid.

Their recovery sucks especially hard there too, which is also pleasant.

I don't know what you're talking about by "cocoon thing in the background" but assume it was an aesthetic choice by whoever made the stage background.

I've been having trouble with Nair>Fsmash. Assuming that I'm supposed to shffl it, I can't seem to get the Fsmash out that fast after the Nair. It just seems that the opponent (spacie) would be able to counter-attack. Know of any vids where I can see this being done?

mango uses Nair a lot at high % so they miss the tech and get hit by F smash. At even higher %s when he can't connect Nair to F smash he does Nair to dash attack.

nair into rest is just weird timing. use nairs and watch to see if you're on top of them afterward. (if you full hop it and kind of...move a bit slowly...it autocancels)

i use nair uptilt a lot too.

Mango learn how to Dair Rest perfectly and Nair Rest perfectly so you can be even gayer I think your game is missing crucial amounts of gay and this error needs to be rectified.

I never FF my Nairs to FSmash/Rest. It never works when I do it either.

I base my game mostly off repeated aerials.

I use rest when I'm sure I can use it...mostly after crouches and uptilts, and after sheilding certain offensive attacks.

Rest right after aerials seem too risky and unaffective to me.

I nair to a crouch or grab - something you can rarely be punished for. Or to another aerial like a fair. Safe playing.

mm nair grab is good. sometimes i do nair jab grab...or nair jab jab. looks stupid and throws them off =P

a jiggs with perfect use of dair would be amazing though. it leads into grabs so well.
