Ya that would be fine, unfortunately i did play a pretty good yoshi called bloshi a while ago, but i was so bad that he just ***** me so i don't really have any useful advice. I remember that he would constantly be throwing eggs at me when i was far away and that was really annoying, but i don't know if that is actually good or if i just sucked at avoiding them at the time

jiggs can fair mostly through all the eggs, only sometimes will splash damage hurt her

jiggs just needs to make sure yoshi doesnt get above him, djc can make him insta drop with a nair to catch jiggs out of the air or get on her shields and pressure it. if jiggs tries to do more fulljump bairs to catch jumps, yoshi has the terribly disjointed upsmash.

hungrybairing can be pretty annoying but yoshi can outspace it with fsmash, parry it to jump through, just doublejump through it and lol or lightshield if scared lol. ece can be really annoying for jiggs if she tries to punish it, but when she gets around the barrage and gets close nair/fair can gimp if yoshi doesnt decide to move from the ledge.

here's an old match of me vs faab when he learning jigglypuff

I went my last tournament set againt a jigglypuff 3-1 though with my only loss playing as yoshi lol (fox is much easier for me)

let's see...

- don't bother trying to spike puff, it'll almost never work. she's always about to use one of her jumps anyway, so even if she's not paying attention she'll probably cancel the meteor by accident.
- don't dash attack. (you probably knew that anyway)
- fairing her in the air onstage so that she hits the ground looks pretty good. anything that allows you to techchase jiggs is really good. her techrolls are easy to follow.
- agree with mahone--those eggs look annoying, i'd throw more of them
- nairing over jiggs's head seems somewhat good. i mean, it's bothersome when fox does it, i don't see why yoshi would be much different.
just don't do it predictably. she'll get out of the way and bair, or possibly just upair through it. (jiggs's upair is good at beating stuff, but it's slower than it probably looks, so you just have to not be predictable about being above her head)
- dair seems like it has a lot of potential against jiggs, but it would be a bit situational...sometimes you would punish his missed moves with nair or something, and a dair + something after would have given way more damage.
- i think you should use bair more to punish misspaced aerials. looks like the 2nd and 3rd hit would connect fairly often due to jiggs's floatiness.

i guess all of yoshi's aerials seem kinda good =/ looks like nair when you're above her and bair when you're beside her should be the standard responses, and fair or dair are the mixups, with higher risk and higher reward. yoshi's upair just doesn't seem like it would come up much in this matchup, but i don't see anything bad about it. jiggs just isn't going to be directly above you very often.

that video makes it look like yoshi's aerials **** jiggs, but really, tag should be bairing more than he is and being a lot safer in general, so i dunno. you're moving around really well though, and that in combination with yoshi's nair looks pretty effective.

yeah, it's like 4 am here, the majority of this post should be true <_<

My main thought was tech chase a lot with fair spam, make puff approach you and punish her for it. But I don't know I only know the yoshi matchup as bowser, haven't tried as puff really lol

But falcon stomping is really effective vs puff so same concept with yoshi fairs imo

Whenever i (rarely) play against yoshi, the only thing i remember being even slightly annoying is the nair jab shield pressure and fsmash, the whole leaning back thing really hurts jiggs's fair approach and it can sometimes work against other arials too.

n n;

AZ doesn't really have any puff players besides him, so yeah.. anyway help me out if you all can ^^
Your spacing is pretty good, but you really need to work on your move choice. I know why you are going for all those fairs on stage, they have a great followup, but you miss SOOO many and thats the main way that tag gets hits in on you. Nair and bair seem **** in this matchup so just use them and be more selective with when you fair... if you pick better spots and use it less, its almost guaranteed to hit.

Also, don't keep going offstage to hit him, just throw some eggs or something and pressure the edge, that way if you miss you aren't in a bad position. Like idea said, even if you hit with the fair its not gonna matter.

Also, your tilts and jabs seem to be really good against puff, I'm sure once the puff knows whats going on they will know when to break the pressure, but what puff knows the yoshi matchup lol, you should definitely do more like nair jab ftilt pressure and dtilt more when jiggs is pressuring and you need some space.

You should definitely work on the bair spacing, if you can get a lot of bair hits that will make the matchup much easier. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MbKfoF6IFuw#t=7m57s. This is the bair spacing im talking about, where you follow them up and continue hitting, it seems really strong.

You definitely have the aggro part of the matchup down, and i wouldn't tell you to stop, because your speed and aggressiveness is what catches the puff off guard and gets you a lot of hits, but there are sometimes where you don't have the correct spacing, but you just jump at them with a nair, just hoping it will hit. What you need to do is keep up the speed and the pressure, but jiggs is gonna get the right bair spacing sometimes, and when that happens, just throw eggs and mess up their spacing... i think a misconception is that the eggs are annoying because they hit, that's not it, even if the jiggs fairs the egg, they are now in the position you made them be in, so you sort of control space and manipulate the jiggs spacing with eggs, then you can go in with that nair, because now their bair spacing is messed up. Mabye i'm overrating eggs, but even if that doesn't work, respace yourself in that situation rather than just jumping in with nairs.

Overall you did really good, honestly if you stopped fairing you would probably 4 stock tag lol. I don't think tag is bad, but if I were you, i would try out new stuff against him, but just play a top player like axe's secondary puff to learn the spacing, i mean, its not like tag is doing amazing jiggs-main-only stuff, so a top player should be able to play it similarly.

Well i've been trying to shine spike (its the fastest way to get a kill, right?) but I seem to get hit more than i hit her. What should I do instead?

you can either use the m2k method: DD grab until puff is at 70% then get frustrated, miss running usmashes and die, or use the jman method: DD grab, get SDI'd on your uairs, laser until 70% then die. those are the only ways foxes know how to fight puff. it's a 0-100 matchup. advice is useless

Camp and bait her aerials, then just hot her. Don't be afraid of puff, you play a better character with better moves. Just don't fall for wavedash back grabs.

Foxes don't know how easy this matchup is

just be as patient as she is. you don't have make guesses against jiggs. she's not a character whose name starts with F.

edit: i have no problem telling foxes how to beat jiggs, but i won't if you guys mind =P

I bet that the fox boards were telling all the puffs how to win back in 2006 thinking, who cares it's just jiggs.

donkey kong country returns is pretty good if you get the classic controller hack.

still not as good as any of the first three, though.
