so i made this stage roster to accompany a sorta dream roster i made and i figured it was worth posting here

i'm about to pass out from exhaustion; you guys can figure things out, right?

Even if unrealistic, I really like big lists like this, though Yoshi and non-Awakening FE got kind of gimped there. Also interesting to see someone suggest a non-Lighthouse Golden Sun stage.

Also, looking at this list, I am reminded of Nintendo Land, and really have to wonder why a stage hasn't been shown for it yet...I mean, it has to be coming, right?

it occurred to me the other day that perhaps night walk is ideal for a rhythm paradise stage it could be recreated very well and already has platforms with a unique look

I kind of want a stage called: Super Smash Bros.
I picture it as a stage that combines the elements of various stages from psat smashes.
It starts as a battlefield layout...
But sometimes whispy woods rises from the ground, or maybe platforms rise from the ground like in fountain of dreams, or maybe springs from 75m fall from the skies. I think it'd be cool.

The new Meta Knight reveal has also revealed some new dragon Pokemon: Axew, Dragonite, Hydreigon, and Garchomp. Seeing as how they're only seen in the Dragon Room (and in the background), they may be stage hazards:

Since the pokemon on the Dragon stage appear to be the more popular ones (the lack of Salamence grinds my gears, unless he's hiding.), I assume either the popular or the strongest of each type will appear. Here's my speculations, but not necessarily of all them together:

Water: Gyarados, Starmie, Kingdra, Lapras, Jellicent. However, I don't expect fish to be standing around on the platform. They might appear in the background of the Water room, swimming around in pools.

Fire: Vulpix, Arcanine, Pyroar, Houndoom, Volcarona

Steel: Scizor, Mawile, Honedge, Skarmory, Magnemite

I don't know about the Champion's room outside of the champion's own pokemon, and even then, there may be a chance the Champion's room won't appear in the stage, IMO.

In Melee and Brawl, several past stages from the preceding games were carried over.

Melee had Dreamland, Congo Jungle and Yoshi's Story from Super Smash Bros 64.

Brawl had the most past stages with Pokemon Stadium, Big Blue, Onett, Temple, Jungle Japes, Brinstar, Corneria, Green Greens, Rainbow Cruise and Yoshi's Island from Melee.

We've seen some past stages make it back to Smash 4 such as Jungle Japes from Melee and Halberd from Brawl.

But what if they brought back past stages from Smash Bros 64 and remastered them with a modern look.

Personally, I'd like to see the following stages brought back and reworked.

SSB64

Saffron City: As a kid, it was one of the stages I played on the most because of how crazy I was over the Pokemon series. I loved how random Pokemon came out of the building and enjoyed the music on that stage. For Smash 4, the stage would be reworked to make it look like it was a new stage designed for Smash 4 but with the same layout. The background would have fully rendered buildings and the time of day would be random upon selection of stage such as morning, noon, evening and late night. And the Pokeball Balloon would be an hot air ballon with Sabrina (would be a first for a Gym Leader to appear in Smash Bros!) looking over the fight and a banner hanging below with the words: "Gotta Catch 'Em All!". Pokemon that appear in the background would also be fully rendered. As for Moltres, if it isn't summoned in the Pokeball/Masterball, then it'll appear in the background beyond the buildings and would often appear when the stage is played in the evening.

Dreamland: A popular stage in both SSB64 and Melee, not much would be changed for this stage besides the background consisting of star shaped islands would be fully rendered. The same layout in-tact, Whispy Woods would be remodeled and Bronto Burts would proceed to fly about in the background. You might even see the Halberd emerge in the distance and fly from one island to another.

Peach's Castle: Layout is the same, stage fully reworked and the background consisting of Peach's Castle- now in HD! Lakitu would show up with his [new] camera on a fishing rod and follow players why floating in the background.

Hyrule Castle: The castle would be touched up and the background fully rendered (this is getting repetitive now). The stage's look will transition to the Hero of Time chapter where the skies darken. Death Mountain may erupt but won't affect the the castle but rather the near by town Kakariko Village. Don't get distracted!


SSBM
(I'm not going to go into too much detail for these stages as
comparatively to SSB64 they don't need to be radically reworked in terms of modeling; 2D objects or structures would be fully rendered in 3D. Lighting improved)

Onett - FD Stage compatible: Fighting on top of the Hospital seen in the background.

Great Bay
Poke Floats - FD Stage compatible: Fighting on Slowpoke.

Yoshi's Island - Stage size increased slightly (10-20%?)

Mute City - FD Stage Compatible: The platform doesn't stop throughout the match.

Icicle Mountain

Fountain of Dreams - The Aurora Borealis is much larger than previously and reflects off the stage. Can only imagine how beautiful it would look.

Temple - FD Stage compatible: Part of the top half of the stage will played on (similar to Project M's Skyloft); background has floating lands dotted.

Kongo Jungle

Fourside

Brinstar Depths

Fourside and Peach's Castle. An update to make the castle more up to par visually with recent Mario games would be nice.

Also a new Poke Floats. The FD version of Poke Floats would be a Stunfisk.

Also a new Mute City based on the one from F-Zero GX. It would have to be reworked structurally from the original, so I guess that wouldn't count as a "remastered" stage, but it would be a cool update.

I really hope to see Fourside return, especially if there's a Final Destination version to it. While the stage itself is hard to play on competitively, it still was beautiful, and the music was awesome.

Sector Z and Corneria were always two of my favorite so I would like to see a newer version of one of those.

Saffron City and Hyrule Castle are the best FFA stages in the entire series imo, so naturally I want to see them remastered. Fountain of Dreams would also be gorgeous in HD. There's really so many good options.

By the way. I wonder how they handle the scales of the characters and stage. But as we saw from Halbert, they fit this time around. Maybe that's just because it a Brawl stage. We have to see.
