If you guys wanted to do a low tier tourney, I'd be willing to create the brackets and such. However, if you wanted to hold it during a tourney, it would have to be lower priority.

Hey I have a question about the matches that were recorded at the last tournament...Will we ever see them or what? Are they going on youtube? Google videos?

by the sound of it there are still going to be upwards of 15 people at the smashfests, so it's almost going to have to be a tourney isnt it... I mean, if we only have 3/4 setups, we won't be getting many people playing, so wouldn't it be best to just have tournies for fun?

yes eci4, we did tournies at the last one just for fun. we did 2v2 and 1v1, and i think we should do low teir and maybe draft crews or something too, that would be fun.

mike, did you get that website up yet? with the rankings or whatever?

Not yet. I'm still writing the page.

I do want to start a discussion about the rank points though. Copying the Midwest Circuit looks like a good place to start. Points for each placement would be:

1st – 45
2nd – 30
3rd – 20
4th – 15
5th – 10
7th – 8
9th – 6
13th – 4
17th – 2
25th - 1

I dunno if anyone wants more or less, but I know that we got out to 25th place at the tourney, so this looks good to me.

Also, we can do whatever you guys want to try at the smashfest. I have the space for pretty much the whole day.

Aahhh. All this talk and I'm stuck down in Winona. Can't come up this weekend (homecoming), and not coming up next biweekly either because SDM will be out of town, but I will come the next biweekly after that! November 11, then you will see what my Pikachu has become... muahahah!

aaron I don't think we can, but last time we almost did... We lost to joemotion's team to take 4th, otherwise we would have got our money back...

Steve had just gotten back from colorado the day before though, and hadn't played smash for 3 months... over that 3 months was when we learned about SWF, and got better... I don't think we would place in the money at these, but he thinks we can... I know there is a whole lot more completition at these too though, he really has no idea...

I do know we have improved, and we've actually somewhat worked out a teams strategy but we havent really been able to practice cuz theres only 3 of us down here now..

Eci4 - Occasionally but this is tournies we're talking about, which he thinks isn't that much of a difference between a friendly and a tourney match. But yeah he can occasionally beat me.

Aaron - He probably wont, but I will ask him and tell him what u said.

I played a bunch of noobs and I guess they want me to teach them how to play, because of me 4 and 3 stocking them with just about every character that gamecrazy had and they think I will go all the way in this le.... yeah I'm not gonna finish that sentence.

Saturday is the only day during the weekend that I can devote the entire afternoon to Smash.

Also, there are usually a lot of people using the lounge for studying on Sunday for school the next day. It's empty on Saturday because everyone is slacking off.
