Some close-ups of the so far revealed characters in the POTD usually have at least some jagged edges, and some are very smooth and not jagged at all.

If this was what was agreed upon, I would disagree with that actually. If you look in the first pic here of the leak, you can see that the Starman ornament has actual eyes. The brawl model underneath, as an example, has that large string of 4-pointed leaves that looks like some sort of vine, but it definitely doesn't resemble a Starman to me. Just my opinion though.

No, it really doesn't. As now right no it hasn't been subjected to the same scrutiny that the Palutena leak was, and even if it does and still seems real to most, it would just suggest that this would fall into the same category as the Palutena leak. "Cannot say strongly one way or the other."

I guess not, right? But, if we make the eyes smaller, so the face looks bigger, and change the position of the mouth and the nose, we can get this:

And here's Chrom. It's basically a matter of smoothness (and maybe blurriness). Oh, the left eye is a little off, but enough with edits. It's 00:50 here and I'm going to work early.

My veredict: It's fake. Unless the guy managed to take the picture from the same height and angle as Marth's picture. If you don't see it, open the last two images on different tabs and compare them.

This is hilarious to me, just because of how many people I saw blindly jumping into the "Palutena auto confirmed pool because the leak can't be proven fake which makes it real and nobody would ever make anything themselves to troll people on the internet" pool, and now this happens and people are jumping into the "This is definitely fake why would a person even be playing the game it's auto fake because April Fools is happening people would definitely always troll us on the internet into infinity" pool.
