Guess the news of Palutena's supposed leaked had already reached parts of the Internet:

Anybody ever notice how we only get leaks on the 3DS version?

Probably easier to fake.

I actually think its the opposite. 3DS screen shots are more unique than the wii U screen shots as there is the signature outline. If it was on the Wii U, it would be an average photoshop job with nothing else to convince us it belongs.

The hair, eyes, ring around her neck, and trinkets are all different (or they look more like the Uprising model)

Another difference is the chain that holds up her necklace. Check how it looks in the Uprising art, and compare it to the Brawl one.

The texture for most of the trinkets and her dress looks the same though, and the rings on her arms look like how the Brawl model looks without the sheen:

Pretty much the only part that I really see as different is the hair, and even then, that wouldn't take that long to photoshop if you're going to plaster it onto a screen too.

There are other differences from her Brawl model: the belt buckler from her Uprising design, some of her ornaments on the dress are different and her face is different from both her Uprising and Brawl models.

If I went about making a fake, I'd zoom out enough or make the image small enough to hide any lack of detail. Plus, if you're any bit as good as a person who could have made this fake, adding touchups to a model to make it look better isn't a big deal at all.

If there's one thing i'll say, it's that this is a very well done fake if it IS indeed fake.

However, I still don't see much in the argument of it actually being fake. There's just so much legit about the pics...

Well, there goes the Star easter egg theory, but still, it doesn't change the fact that this is a different model from the ones seen in Brawl and Uprising.

This isn't a mere coloring or shading edit like some people here are claiming. There are details that indicate something more than that.

Not to say this is legit, but everything so far seems to point towards that. If it's a fake, damn, it's a very good one. A really impressive one, indeed...

I think what you're seeing as eyes are just impressions on the design of the charm. There's a picture of one of her previous models a few pages back, and the charm that's in the place of where we're seeing the "power star" is a long stalk of some sort of plant, the base of which looks similar to the top of a power star if you cut it off. I would do some paint masterpieces to highlight it, but I'm at work.

200+ people in this thread... holy balls... I'm glad to see there's so much hype for Palutena. As I mentioned earlier, I believe she's one of the few characters this time around that satisfies both casuals and hardcore Nintendo fans, being second only to Mewtwo. She's someone I've expected since the beginning especially with Uprising's not so subtle "wink-wink-nudge-nudge-how's-yer-mum" Smash Bros references.

as for a new pokemon rep i really think blaziken fits the bill beautifully. he's a fire fighting with an awesome moveset and personally i'd love to see him take lucario's spot. mewtwo's awesome but i'd prefer a new character over either lucario or mewtwo. also, i really would like ridley to be playable. throw in at least one more metroid character.
