Why does everybody hate the Blue and Orange Mewtwos? I find them both fitting and aesthetically pleasing.
Eh. It's not so much that I hate them as it is I don't like them as much as Mewtwo's other palette swaps. The Blue and Orange colorations are definitely aesthetically pleasing, but so are most of his other palette swaps. The only one that doesn't really do anything for me is the Brown one. It's definitely my least favorite, though I don't dislike it by any means. It just happens to be the one I like the least.

Mostly as an anti-landing move. If an opponent tries to come down right on top of me, then U-Smash typically puts a stop to it. Even if the opponent manages to air-dodge through the bulk of the move, they still tend to get sucked into it for the last few blows unless they're playing as a really short character, like Kirby or Jigglypuff. Also, Mewtwo's U-Smash can actually power through moves like Falcon Kick and Wizard's Foot, as well as a few other stall-then-fall moves. It's pretty incredible, and the opponent is in for a rude awakening if they don't know what they're up against.
In addition to that, I occasionally use it to counter opponents who try to jump from a ledge, and if anybody happens to be on a platform above me, then Mewtwo's U-Smash can usually hit them through the platform. Finally, I also sometimes use it as a follow-up to a D-Throw. It's a pretty effective kill move, as well, like you said. I don't know if it's Mewtwo's best kill move, but it's certainly up there. I really enjoy using it!
Exactly this. Up Smash is better off as an anti-air move imo. I rarely use it when my opponent is on the ground since the hit box isn't big enough to hit a lot of characters. It also works wonders against Sonic's Homing Attack. I'm not sure if it works on Kirby's Stone or the Bowser Bomb.

EDIT: Right after I posted this a ton more posts appeared. 0.0

Wait, which one's the brown one again? Are you referring to Blacktwo?

I can confirm that Bowser Bomb and Stone will fall right through Mewtwo's U-Smash. I learned that lesson the hard way. Also, thanks for the heads-up on Sonic's Homing Attack! It never occurred to me to use Mewtwo's U-Smash to counter it. That should very helpful in the future!

Yeah, I think so. It looks brown to me, but I guess it could be black.

You're welcome and thanks for clearing the Kirby and Bowser situation up. On Sonic's Homing Attack, Mewtwo's Up Smash is a brilliant counter move. I've seen a few For Glory videos with Mewtwo against Sonic and Sonic's Homing Attack practically gets destroyed by Mewtwo. Very useful to keep in mind.

As for the monotone/brown palette swap, the brown seems to be pretty dark so it could get mistaken for black a lot. When I look at it really quick, it does look black to me.

I see the brown now. This alt isn't as good as the ones that Brawl Hackers make.

I know it works on Yoshi and I've punished a Bowser with Usmash before. Should have made a replay

It's either a pitch-black, or brownish-black coloration.
In my opinion though, there's probably at least a tint of brown of his black alt, as, since Mewtwo's icons are overexaggerated versions of the actual costume, there has to be some evidence of brown to exaggerate in the first place.

the Doc also has a d-throw -> down-b combo... not to make you even better or anything.

Are we doing rotations or free-for-alls?

FFAs are too chaotic for me.

Also, what did you two think of Firewet Beach? I made it myself.

This order should suffice

Speed vs U-throw
Me vs Speed
Me vs U-throw

unless there's a better order.

I apologize. I'm not completely familiar with the term. So, I leave and wait until you guys have played one match, and then I join and someone else leaves for one match, and so on and so forth, right?
xD No, no...you SD off the ledge and observe the other two people play, and then you get to play the next match because the other person, who lost that match, will SD.

No, not at all.

All of the players enter the fray, and whoever isn't fighting commits suicide.

Oh, OK. I'm really sorry I missed these. My computer was acting up and it wouldn't load past the first two messages. I'll do it properly next time.

Who has Smash Balls on?

I was dodging to follow his movement so I could continue to rush him down.
I hate dodging.
