Nope, it's actually on Mewtwo's page on the main site. I found it interesting that Sakurai made this little nod to Melee.
Perhaps now the playing field will be a little bit more...how should I say? Even? :3

Certainly looks like it. In Melee the foe could act out of Confusion tumble faster than Mewtwo's animation ended, punishing it. This is a pretty egregious problem, and should be an obvious first fix for making the move usable. Just from appearances, the animation LOOKS much quicker in the trailer, and we did see Mewtwo swipe Greninja with a Beam Sword. Charizard also looked within Fair range when he got yoinked from his recovery. Perhaps tilts and aerials will be reliable follow ups. We can only hope.

Also, it stopped both Fly from Charizard and Greninja's Substitute. ....perhaps it has greater priority now...?
Also, on a side note, has anyone else noticed this?

Very probably. Conceptually, Confusion is a fantastic move. It's a command grab and a reflector all at once, unblockable, seemingly high priority, stalls you in the air, and it puts the opponent in a compromising position for you to take advantage of. The Melee iteration had a number of mechanical flaws that prevented it from doing what it was intended to, but if they've fixed those like it appears it will serve as a great all-purpose move and valuable part of M2's kit.

You know, Mewtwo truly is the grapple character in the Smash series.
I mean, seriously...when it comes to Mewtwo, the last thing you want is to caught up in his grab and slammed by his multitude of options. He could opt for damage with his F-throw, combo you with his D-throw, or flat up KO you with ease with his B-throw or Up-Throw. :3
Not only that, his Confusion special allows a multitude of follow ups from various other attacks...that is, if it works properly.
In fact...
here's his Melee character description:
"Mewtwo is definitely not a speedy character, but its ESP-powered grab and throw moves are comparatively strong."

Soooo.....Lemme get this straight, Mewtwo's Confusion:
-Trumps shields and is a command grab
-Works in the air
-Puts aerial opponents into tumble
-Reflects projectiles
-Can possibly be combo'd into other moves
-Has decent range

Let's not get angry, guys. What if all of the Smash characters who are ripping of Mewtwo's look were just trying to promote him for Smash like we were, and that they were succesful?

Pretty much. Don't forget that it will probably still do damage as well. Seems versatile and useful now rather than being a mostly wasted slot. I don't think it's an exaggeration to say it could be a defining move for Mewtwo this time around. Considering how good Teleport and Shadow Ball are at what they do, Disable getting meaningful buffs would be truly delicious.

Yeah, Confusion, from what we know nonow, will definitely make Mewtwo a threat in the meta.

- How long is the daze effect
- How quickly can you attack out of it
- How quickly can you use Disable again
- How strong is the knockback for Disable2x
- Are certain characters resistant to it
- What are the effects of it in the air*
*Referring to Smash 4 potential buffs
