Personally I think Shulk has one of the worst counters. It has a lot of start up lag, and sometimes you can respond to the counter before it even executes.

I think Greninja's counter is probably better, slightly less predictable and you can change its direction. It's definitely better than Lucario's in my opinion.
Shulk's Vision slows down time for the most part, and you DO know you can cancel the startup by holding forward, right?
You know who needs buffs? Zelda. ****ing Zelda. *proceeds to 3stock CPU with her*

Good morning all! I played Peach again yesterday - on the 3DS she isn't really useable, and I'm too lazy to turn on the Wii U without visitors - and as usual I fell in love again immediately. The extra option of floating makes her feel like the most versatile character in the game! Before anyone complains, I know she isn't; no character feels more marvelous, royal, and trollzy (that side taunt...) than Peach to me, and I feel quite stupid for always forgetting about her after rocking the 3DS for a few weeks D:

Ah well, I guess that's what I had to say on the topic of mains - I thank you for listening to my rambling! Oh, you know what? For new Pokémon music to come with Mewtwo, I feel we need this song without a doubt:

Down on the corner, out in the street.
:falcon64: - **** yeah Up air combos with the ender, FALCON PAWNCH!!!!!

:mewtwomelee:- The reason I first used Mewtwo was simply because his Shadow Ball looked cool and his Up B looked so cool and his F-Throw threw mini shadow balls and I thought that was so cool when I was younger :awesome:

:foxmelee::falcomelee: - Like @Metros, I kinda bounce between these two as well. I usually pick Falco because Lasers, but I find doing JC Shine stuff with Fox more satisfying :p

:falconmelee::ganondorfmelee:- No need to explain this one.

:marthmelee::roymelee: - Saw a few tournament videos with Marth. Picked up Roy first because he was more hype (that voice tho) and that he was more underused compared to Marth.
I eventually picked up Marth out of sheer curiosity and decided to co-main both Marth and Roy :p

:lucas:- PK Thunder, felt better to play as compared to Ness.

:falcon::ganondorf:- Despite them not being as good as their Melee counterpart, they were still fun to mess around with so that was good.

:falco: - Bread, Accent, SH AC Double Lasers.

:wolf: - Voice, Up B looked cool af.

:snake: - Up Smash kills and C4/ Mine traps were the best thing ever :p

:metaknight: - Fun as **** character basically.

:4falcon:- Same as 64, but without Falcon Punch enders.

:4mewtwo:- See Melee Mewtwo

:4lucas: - See Brawl Lucas

:4littlemac:- Called his announcement since the very first Smash 4 trailer. Very fun character to play as.

:4ganondorf: - This ***** finally has a sword yo. Also Dair spikes are sick yo.

:4falco: - Still had Brawl's fun factor. Disappointed with Laggy af Lasers :ohwell:

Why I main who I main (I'm back guys... on the stupid phone keyboard...) :

Mewtwo: I love the Pokemon series. I loved this guy when I was a kid. I remember using him a lot in Melee against my friends. I chose him mainly because I loved legendaries. Legendaries are op and I love them a lot. He was so cool back then... I would fanboy over his Shadow Ball. His character in the movies have a lot of depth and I love it. I remember watching his movies when I was little and they're among my favorite Pokemon movies. I played him again for the first time in forever with a group of friends 3 weeks ago which pretty much renewed my love for Mewtwo. Of course, him being in smash 4 also made me like Mewtwo all over again. He's my second favorite legendary and my main "main".

Pikachu: I love the Pokemon series. It's a huge part of my childhood and Pikachu is and was everywhere. He's one of my favorite Pokemon. He was the first character I used in smash and I used him since 64. I have fond memories of Pikachu toys and his appearance in the anime.

My top 2. I have other characters I use like the ones in my signature, but these 2 are the top dogs. I would have typed more but I hate phone keyboard. Goodnight everyone I'm seriously going to bed now. =)

Speaking of, I call BS on his recovery being worse with more Pikmin, he was at the bottom of the screen, had all 3 pikmin yet recovered to the ledge
He becomes considerably easier to gimp/edge-guard unless he's riding the lip of the stage and even then he still has the risk of getting stage-spiked.

It's the Lucario forums... of course people are gonna be biased and not complain about him, haha. =P

I see people complain about him a lot on other forums and social media (Facebook, Reddit, etc). He really is a good character, but everywhere that's not the Lucario forums overrate him too much IMO. I play a lot of Lucario btw, so I'm confident I know what I'm saying. Lucario grabs are pretty darn good, u-throw (what a surprise just like Mewtwo) especially. Lucario does have some combos at low percent. Yeah, they're combos, but they do zero damage. After a few u-throw to fair chains they'll be only at like 30%. One attack from a high percent Lucario is better than 7 attacks at low percent. Lucario is better with combos at mid percents I'd say. There really is no advantage that low percent Lucario has... heck, high percent Lucario can still combo u-throw to u-air at high percents if the enemy is at a low enough percent. It'll do the same amount of damage as like 6 u-throw to fair chains at low percent too.

I actually see Lucarios quite a lot on For Glory. It's really annoying too, because all they do is spam roll and Aura Sphere. >.< I love playing Lucario but it irritates me to no end when I'm fighting against one.
Really the people who say he's op don't know what they're saying at all, no offense to them of course. As much as I love Lucario, I know he's not top tier and thats fine with me, I like the characters that require a challenge to master. I wouldn't say its bias, I think it has to do with the people actually knowing that Lucario is far from being op... Because he really isn't op lol not in the slightest. You know who was op? Brawl Meta Knight. Mhm Yep.

I honestly think Lucario mirror matches are some of the best ones same with Yoshi mirror matches. Normally when I get someone who constantly rolls around I just zone them out myself with egg tosses with Yoshi. The past 100 matches (I've played over a thousand matches online btw) I've played, I seriously have only played against 3 Lucario players. Compared to all the other Luigi's, Ness', Mario's, and Links, three Lucario players is a minority.

@ Cutie Gwen Cutie Gwen yeeeaaaahhh Bowser wins when he boswercides now. I have mixed feelings about it but its not that much of a huge deal to me.

You know what's BS? I died first when me and Bowser died on our last stock due to Bowsercide
I'm not 100%, but I'm fairly certain that if you have more % than Bowser then you'll die first. Same vice-versa.

Melee Pichu and Brawl Ganondorf too.
Yep, but it was so satisfying to win as either one (and hard as heck if you were against a good opponent). I once got three of my Brawl buddies to try maining 'Dorf for a week because I kept wiping the floor with them. Good times :)

I am a Bowser Main
in the latest update to do Bowsercide Bowser dies first and then his enemy (and you can return to the stage)
The% only influences who controls the direction of attack
Example: If Bowser does his Side-B near a Edge and wants to fall on stage to not commit suicide, he will control the direction if less damage than your opponent, but if you have less damage than Bowser, you can do it from falling out the stage, Bowser dies first and you can return to the stage
You understand what I mean?

Me and Bowser died simultaneously
Dunban for sure. Gotta have the HeroHom but it's no Reyn, Seven or Melia.
Seven would be even more spoilers. Not that Sakurai would care

Only thing they don't spoil are the final boss and a certain weapon
They left out some plot twist related stuff as well.
Kallian, Dickson, Mumkhar, Sorean, Lorithia, Vanea, Daddy Pig Miqol, Egil and Alvis ought to have had trophies.

I understand, thanks for the clear up^-^
And since you're a Bowser main, do you know how to escape it at the last second?
