Are you talking about his jabs or smash attacks? If it's the former then they've been improved.
We don't know anything about the strength of his side-smash or down-smash but if the trailer was accurate, it looks like his up-smash got the raptor boost treatment.

All of the above. I know his jabs have a finisher which is awesome, but in 1 vs 1 on Omega, it'd help if all of his A attacks were buffed. I'm not sure how well Melee Mewtwo can go 1 vs 1 with that moveset as it is in Smash 4.

Been lurking this section of the boards for months, but I don't really log into my account enough.

I'm pretty excited. I've always wanted Mewtwo to be a good fighter, so fingers crossed they did him justice this time! I'm waiting till the 28th since I never bothered to purchase the 3DS version, but I'll have fun in the meantime with Charizard recreating that iconic Pokemon Origins fight on For Glory. Bwahahaha.

I'm guardedly optimistic about improvements to Mewtwo's moveset. Everything we've seen in action looks categorically better than it used to be, even taking into account the flash factor of the trailer trying to make Mewtwo look good. Up Smash has meaty kill potential and connects better, Dair is quicker, jab has a finisher, Confusion reflects, and Disable follows dodgeball rules and aims low. That's to say nothing of frame data, knockback scaling, priority, and the duration of impact for Side and Down B. Mewtwo has a good set of tools, and with positive tweaks like the ones we've seen the future is shiny. I too am interested to see more of tilts, smashes, and the like, but overall I feel good.

All E-Shop software is released on EST time. Us west coasters will technically get Mewtwo earlier. We will get him April 14th at 9:00 PM (which is April 15th 12:00 AM EST).

Well that is, if the codes are mailed before that so that we can go into the e-shop and use them. If the codes are mailed on the same day then everyone will probably get him at different times throughout the day (independent of time zone).

I'm hoping they're responsible enough to make sure that everyone has their codes by the 14th and have servers that won't lag or crash.

Here's hoping Donkey Kong gets a little positive tweak here or there in the balance patch, too. Ike is pretty good as-is, but DK needs a little something-something.

I've lost count of the number of times I've watched the trailer now. I can't stop watching it, it's too addictive. But.. it's keeping me going. I'll probably watch it eveyrday for the next ten days.

I think the Victory Road theme is absolutely perfect for him, considering he's back in Sm4sh and this is OUR victory!
