More arguing again... sigh. This is the 2nd time now I've come on here to see people arguing. Mewtwo's just been released, yet... arguing.

Honestly, to me, right now Smash 4 feels as though it has little relevancy. Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy the game but without Mewtwo in it just yet I have no motivation to play it. I bounce around characters a lot as I never feel comfortable or happy with one. I tried Sheik and Yoshi for a while, but even they don't feel fun to play as and it's worse for me now knowing that Mewtwo is back, but he's just not in it yet. I've always been loyal to Mewtwo enough that no other character holds my interest for long. I've tried to have fun with it, but it's just not the same.
I know I'm a bit late to post, but I don't really care too much for another fighter to come into the game now. I got Mewtwo, and that was really all I wanted. But it's great to see Lucas back, and others getting a chance at their favourite character returning, so I will be happy with whoever joins the roster. That being said, I really hope it's another veteran that people want. Or Issac as my bf wants him back.
I really DON'T want to see characters like 'Miku Hatsune' or Shrek in the game (that's just stupid). Hopefully people don't act too immature when doing the ballot.
This is pretty much how I feel. Smash 4 doesn't feel fun right now because of my anticipation for Mewtwo.
I've always tried to settle on one character... but I just couldn't. Happens in every Smash game haha. I tried to use the character I've used the most since the 64 days, Pikachu. I've tried to use the character that's one of my favorite animals, Donkey Kong. I've tried to use the character that I used the most in my Brawl days, Lucario. I tried to use the giant dino-creatue that I always thought was so cool as a kid, Bowser. I tried to use the Pokemon that's a freaking
dragon, Charizard.
Whenever I thought I had settled onto one character, I would always rotate back to another. I was very indecisive when it came to characters. And then there was Mewtwo. I remember playing him in Melee a lot and thought he was awesome when I was kid. He was my second favorite legendary, in fact. Mewtwo had been always my most wanted veteran, and when he appeared in the 50 Facts direct I was super excited to play him like I did in Melee (he was like top 5 characters in Melee for me back then).

extremely excited until 3 weeks ago when I played Mewtwo with my friends again. This was like... ~12 days before the April 1st direct. It was weird... I dunno why I got so excited for Mewtwo after that day. I was always excited for him, but after that day my excitement went through the roof. I always owned Project M at my house and played Mewtwo a lot. I played Mewtwo in Melee like 2 weeks prior to that day. However, this was the first time I played Mewtwo with a group of people in Melee in nearly 7 years. This was the first time I played Mewtwo in PM with a group of people. He just... felt right when I played with my friends. That's when I realized that Mewtwo chose me (jk. but seriously though he just felt right). I played pretty much only Mewtwo the entire day with my friends. I didn't win much 'cause they were using top tiers (Fox, Marth). I then went to the Mewtwo forums and stayed there. I've never stayed at a character forum for so long before. A third of all my messages (about 120) have been solely in this thread. My likes on my posts literally doubled after I joined this thread. I got even more excited afterwards.
I've never felt so motivated to play and main one character before. I may or may not be just bandwagoning on the character, but I feel like it's more than that. It's kinda funny, because I wanted Lucina in the game more than I wanted Mewtwo, but I just feel so much more excited for Mewtwo. Especially after that one day. I always felt guilty about playing so many characters and not having a main, so I'm glad that I'm finally confident I'll be able to stick to one. I've never felt so confident I'll be able to settle down before. I haven't even played the character yet, haha.
