It's because Bandana Waddle Dee is a specific Waddle Dee from the Kirby series, kind of like Goombario from Paper Mario. The difference is that Bandana Dee is a major Kirby character who has made several appearances. Plus, he can bring a lot to the table because he wields a spear, a weapon not seen in Smash as of yet. I think Bandana Dee is a perfectly acceptable candidate for Smash 4.

Characters I wouldn't want to see:
Tails, Pichu, the Pokemon Trainer/Squirtle/Ivysaur, and likely all of the crap Miiverse is requesting (ie Shrek, Goku, Egoraptor, etc.). XD

I definitely don't want to see any of those Miiverse characters, I personally think they sound like an awful idea. Then again, I also thought that WFT was an awful idea, but she's/he's grown on me.

this is smash bros. not ****ing mugen. characters still have to make SOME form of sense in smash. for example. i doubt weaboos will get goku or the xbots will get master chief. i know what phil said, and bk is still a possibility since they HAVE interracted with another nintendo character (diddy kong, diddy kong racing, the first appearence of banjo)

If your main's similarity to Mewtwo means anything to you, then I'd go with Lucario firstly, and Greninja if you don't like Lucario. I mean, neither are similar to Mewtwo in any way, shape or form: Mewtwo is completely unique compared to them. It's just that they're the closest things we currently have to Mewtwo, however distant they may be.

I'd argue that Ness is more similar to Mewtwo than Lucario or Greninja. Ness is floaty, has similar double jump, kind of slow, etc. Either way, yeah I agree there really isn't any other character that's really similar to Mewtwo.

I can't tell if you're being serious or if you're joking, but I can tell you that Greninja's Water Shuriken is completely different from both Aura Sphere and Shadow Ball. Greninja can't store Water Shuriken, and it's a multi-hit, trapping move with a powerful finishing blow.
Aura Sphere gets more powerful as Lucario takes damage, and it flies completely straight, whereas Shadow Ball has consistent damage and flies in an erratic, jagged pattern. All three of the moves are completely different from each other.
Again, I can't tell if you're being serious or not, so if you're just kidding, then I apologize for being a naive idiot.

I actually tend to switch "mains" a lot... it's hard for me to decide on one character so I just don't main anyone and play all the characters I like in Smash 4. I have like zero character loyalty.

However, when Mewtwo comes out, that's gonna change. I swear to god that I will main Mewtwo. If I ever rotate mains again, I will curse myself and stab myself with a thousand needles. Character disloyalty will be no longer. I will no longer rotate "mains" - I will main only Mewtwo.

I usually only stick to two or three characters at the most. There are even times where I'll pick a character on day one and never learn a secondary because I get too comfortable with my main. Of course being a character loyalist isn't the best thing in a game where match-ups are so important but oh well.

I don't really have specific color that I use for Dr. Mario. He's my current main, and he's really the only character I ever use. I like all of Doc's palettes, and the one I use varies based on the time of day and my mood.
However, rest assured: Even though my current character loyalty is exclusive to Doc, once Mewtwo comes out I'll be maining him exclusively. Dr. Mario will be bumped down to my secondary, and some of my character loyalty will remain with him, but Mewtwo will take over as my main and a majority of my character loyalty will be transferred to him. In a game where match-ups are important, it never hurts to have a main that you're an expert with that you use most of the time, but I personally think you should also have a secondary that you're just as good with in the event that your main is hard-countered by your opponent.

I have 3 mains now *cough* profile picture *cough* and plan to stick with only 4 exclusively (notice I don't pick via tiers, and mostly focus on favorites), which seems to be the max I can handle. Those 5 are the possible characters to take said 4th spot. It also goes alongside something I like about RWBY, a team of 4 individuals with differing talents. (RWBY is my tag as I like the series, and feel that it was a creative way to honor Monty). As for sticking with 1 main...well, I just can't stay with just 1 main (besides 64), it feels odd to me.
