It depends on his sources. He doesn't single-handedly leak things, otherwise he'd be sued to hell and back.

Granted, he wasn't the only one covering MK11 anyway, so his track record on Bamco fighter DLC has yet to be proven.

so a lot of people think Banjo and Erdrick are gonna show up together at E3 a credible leaker named shinobi said banjo's in and we've known about Erdrick for awhile so any blowback Erdrick could get will be soft because of banjos presence and Steve being leak bait if true is funny for me but sad for the people that did want him no memes involved

Considering that Banjo has gotten so much merchandise as of late, I can see that being true. I mean, there has been next to nothing, and all the sudden there is pins last years, and now that statue at E3, I can see it being true. And I mean, his track record is nothing to sneeze at and he is backed up by both Sabi and Ryce in terms of credibility. Let¨s also add the fact that the higher up at Mojiang basically acted like Steve was not in nor should get in.

However, I wonder the reasoning for it would it be true. Banjo & Kazooie is a dead franchise right now, unfortunately, and Minecraft is the most popular game in the world (it's also the most downloadable game on Japans Eshop)... Is it because of legacy, or is it that they throw west a bone because of Erdick if Erdick is the one?

I don't know how many people here watch BlockedContent, but they released a video today talking about a "leak" which has Sora in it and they're acting like the leak could be real. I don't believe the "leak", but I think it's weird that they'd make a video about some random leak. Has anyone seen this video and if so what do you think about it? People on Youtube will talk about any leak they can find cause it gets views from curious people. Don't take any of them seriously regardless of their contents.

The Banjo trailer (and this is from someone that believes Banjo have a high chance now with Shinobi leaking him) is what throws me off with this leak. If Sora would get in (playing the devil's advocate here) I would argue that this is something that could be something in his trailer. I seriously doubt they would have Banjos trailer in that regard. Having him kick Soras ass on the same day that they announced Sora? Give me a break. I have a higher time believing that they would do a Diddy Kong racing throwback, having him racing with Diddy at the spiral mountain.

The rest I could see happening but they are extremely safe guesses.

Maybe that's why Blocked Content thinks this could be a real leak, because of the safe guesses?

BlockedContent is a garbage YouTuber. He built up a fan base by posting quality videos, and then once it got big enough started making LaxChris style trash to rake in views. He thinks everything could be real and doesn’t deserve a single view.

That's honestly maybe one of the best case scenarios. I dont care about banjo but there's tons of people who do so if they can get what they want and we get erdrick too then all's well. (except I have to take a shot of hotsauce ;p)

I still don't believe the stuff around, and i think people are taking too much from that leaker admin, since he only said he hopes that there's more about banjo (along with the smashing comment). If it doesnt happen he can just say people took too much from the comment, and if it does he can claim he knew or predicted it. Unless he makes an outright claim, im not going to put much stock into it.

But I will say that the amount of banjo merch does make me think that maybe something is coming back up with the series. I hope it's not just that they're capitalizing on the fanbase because banjo has been talked about quite a bit, since that could lead to quite a bit of people disappointed. But in any case, stay open and let's see what comes :)

Probably. I mean, most games are already stuff that has been announced, or rumored for quite some time (MP HD Trilogy is even said to be done and ready to go) Witcher 3 have been rumored. Companies, as well as Nintendo, love to port over older games. According to Sabi, there is a placeholder for Gamestop for something that cost 200$ (most likely a bundle/premium edition according to Sabi (aka Polar Panda). https://twitter.com/New_WabiSabi/media?lang=sv

Astral Chain needs some more attention considering its a new IP and they are more than likely gonna do some last minute marketing for FE since it comes out next month.

Like I said. I don¨t believe this because of the Banjo trailer description even though I think Banjo is more than likely in because of Shinobi.. . that leak is the Ridley leak all over again. That trailer sound so fanficy and not something Sakurai would do considering every reveal trailer has fit the character. Something along the lines of Diddy and Banjo racing on top of Spiral Mountain would be much more believable if you know what I mean. Unlike the trailer Sora allegedly have. That feels like something Sora would get if he was dlc.

At the very least I can easily see Sora's main gameplay gimmick being how the MP gauge lowers when you use special attacks.

Apparently odds are in favor with Banjo now? If I'm reading some of these posts correctly.

As much as I want Sora in this game, I think if we are getting a square enix representative of some kind , Erdrick is more likely at this point.
Hate to say it, but I believe both Erdrick and Banjo being announced keep things balanced in terms of audience perception.

Banjo and Kazooie is more or less for western appeal, while DQ would cater to japan.

If there is a third, then Geno would be my guess. He would actually represent a happy median between the two in terms of series representation.

The dude has a flawless record as of right now. His is backed up by Ryce and Sabi (the latter calling him the most trustworthy of the bunch), and I doubt he would say "Been a while since we saw Banjo, I hope we¨re in for a smashing good time" if he did not mean Smash. He could be wrong as any other leaker, but I do argue there are good reasons why people believe him.

And the merchandise certainly helps it like you claim

Like I said, it's not about the credibility, it's about him making a direct claim or not. Banjo is so highly discussed right now that there's no problem outright saying it. He might just be hoping for it, from the speculation and the merch going around. I dont buy into cryptic stuff when there's no need for it.

Yeah, he's not being direct, but it's not the first time a ResetEra admin hinted at stuff this way, and Ryce has said that the "smashing good time" phrase has been used before when teasing Smash.

Yes but even with that I think he might just be alluding because he thinks there might be something and doesn't want to risk claiming, meaning it might just be more hearsay or based on the other stuff happening around. Maybe he was even counting on someone like Ryce to make that connection.
