Wow, that's really cool. I'm really looking forward to Shazam (first DCEU flick that has gotten me hype, actually), so all the glowing things I'm hearing are great.

The director is from Sweden which is one of the main reason why the screening managed to get him (and I live in Sweden)

Warner Brothers Sweden had an early screening where they invited some people with David Sandberg being apart of it. The director was truly down to earth.

I prefer Hideaki Anno's continuity of the King of Monsters. I'll watch this one either way, but I would go nuts if Anno would work on a sequel to his reboot film after Evangelion 3.0+1.0 is out

And it's nice to see someone liked the film.

I liked 2014 and Shin Godzilla a lot.
Hopefully Anno makes the next Toho film of the Kaiju and Legendary Pictures keeps making each one of their Godzilla and Kong movies better with each new entry.

I still have to see the anime trilogy on Netflix doh.

I would much rather a sequel to Shin Gojira. TBH I don't really care about this movie, but I haven't been watching marketing either. I'll probably watch it eventually.

The trailer had "Claire de la Lune". Immediatelly convinced me to give the film a chance.
But yeah, Shin Godzilla is a masterpiece, and the best content I've seen from the franchise. There are rumors of him making an Ultraman film after Evangelion, so there's something. I'll be oozing over Eva for years to come, but seeing Anno making the film he always dreamed of is so satisfying. I'm happy for him if this is in fact true

I think they moved the release day before, but don't qoute me on that. But yeah it's a funny coincidence no matter what. I doubt they planned to release it a month after. I honestly think its more.. Okay, this date is for the best for this movie. Sure Avengers Endgame is 2 weeks after, but that movie cost like 80 million bucks to make marketing not included so it will more than likely be profitable two weeks in with no issue. If you like movies like Goonies, Superman with Christopher Reeves, as well as Ghostbuster, you certainly love this since those influences are all over the place and it works great.

If it wasn't for Detective Pikachu, I think Shazam would be the May release for Warner Brothers instead

We're waiting on new Smash info, but the wait isn't bad because there are a bunch of non-Smash announcements that might happen. Like Persona stuff is planned to be announced tomorrow.

To me, speculation is as dry as a desert. No, really. Everything since the last Direct has become quite boring.
Rumours and discussion always suffer from the same goddamn clichés, it's actually getting sickening at this point.
"4chan topic says next characters are guys we've discussed to death"
"Some guy calls it fake for whatever, sometimes makes sense, sometimes not"
"Someone then has to act like nothing can be true anymore because they live in a bubble where everything has to go their way"
