Being serious, I think this is the next thing to search for. If we can find a "Brave_[STAGE NAME GOES HERE_" file it'll be incredibly useful in determining who "Brave" is.

Ooh. So that's a point for the 5ch leak that listed that as his stage, huh? Interesting to hear. I won't take it as total confirmation but now we can't throw it out either.

Eh. Mementos is a safe stage pick given how there are not many places you can really take from Persona 5. The Casino, Kamoshida's Castle, and Mementos are the three most likely stages due to their importance in the game. At most, this doesn't deconfirm the 5chan leak, which is what Erdrick is needing.

I mean, I think a train station stage could be sick. Although maybe I’m biased because I’m from London, and Tube is life.

Ugh... if this is true, I'm not gonna be happy...
Because I would've preferred the Casino as the stage, but I guess they went w/ the other obvious choice.
As far as the 5chan leak goes, it is a point in its favor...
However, I'm not completely sold on it just yet. P5R and P5U are the other big points in this leak.
So I'll withhold my final judgement on the leak until we know what's going on w/ those games.

But I'll be honest, it wouldn't be hard to call out Mementos as the stage for Joker. It's like saying Sephiroth's stage is the Planet's Core.
I'm still keeping my expectations in check, so I won't believe in that 5chan leak yet.

Interesting how Joker is still Jack. Probably means Brave is still indeed Brave.
I'd also like to point out how the 5chan leak also guessed that Nintendo and Square would be doing more overseas DQ marketing, which falls in line with Nintendo's plans for the series.
Things are slowly lining up more for Erdrick than not.

If this is legit though, I’m just excited that Erdrick will a) be an adult and b) have proper alternate costumes. Smash has always been lacking on that regard,

I can see why Mementos seems like an unpopular choice. Looks kind of depressing as far as visuals go compared with that casino. Wonder if we could get another SEGA song with the stage like we did with Bayonetta and Afterburner.

The Casino is indeed sexier than Mementos. I like Mementos as it is practically the structure of the entire game but the Casino has Wheel of Fate. Give and take. However, I don't doubt all of the Lyn songs are in the game. It'd be a crime if they left one out.

It's not a major deal, but it still seems kinda weird. Especially since the Japanese name is Mementosu.

Mementos isn't bad just a bit abstract, but its kind of boring compared to other locations. I hope there's the P5 teammates narrating or making some bants with each other which was the best part of it. Its looking good for Erdrick, but still there is the aspect that each post in the leaks have different IDs which is kind of strange unless the person doing the leaks spoofed his address or changed locations to post it.
She's like the hero equivalent in DQX, she is not a party member but a prominent character in the story.

Honestly if the 5chan leak proves true, I’ll be excited because that means Ryu Hayabusa is coming to Smash.
Hmmm I wonder since Ray Chase is already in Smash as the VA of Roy. Will they get him to replay the subway announcer from Persona 5?
Also not sure how’d they’d do it since this track is so calm, but I’d love for this to be one of the songs the Persona stage comes with.

I do wonder how effective this hypothetically hypothetical DQ promotion will actually be. I noticed some people were already intrigued by the DQ content in the direct, so perhaps Erdrick is a way to encourage those people to finally take the leap. Interdasting stuff.

But let's not count this towards the Ryu/Steve/Doomguy leak, b/c we literally have nothing else in favor of those 3 characters besides the iffy nature surrounding Minecraft content in Smash.

Yeah, that one 5ch leak with Doomguy and company still smells like a fat load to me. However, the fact that Joker's stage is Mementos does score another point for Erdrick. If Alefgard is somehow found in the strings somewhere, that'll end up sealing the deal, but I don't think Erdrick would be as far along as Joker, stage included.

I wouldn't count Mementos towards anything, I think most assumed that was the safest bet for a Persona 5 stage anyway. It would've been great if we got something other than Mementos, like the Velvet Room or obviosuly the Casino if we were REALLY lucky!

The fact that Nintendo were so quick to remove the Brave stuff before the 2.0.0 update, it just seemed like maybe they were aware that people were finding stuff and that's why the stats weren't there anymore. Then again, 3.0.0 is coming, but I really would be surprised if they were to find anything else, especially if the character itself is still very far along.

Gotcha. I know nothing about Dragon Quest 10 but she looks alright. Assuming this 5chan leak is the thing, we're running around an assumption that Erdrick's moveset will also have to apply to two other characters. Not impossible or troubling in the slightest given how most protagonists are practically almost identical in utility.

Mementos is just a large random place, and I dont know if it'd be considered defining for persona 5, for me it does say something about this new data, because it could've been a lot of other things, even if it had a chance to be in.

Well, it seems to refer to the Anlucia and Luminary alts as pallet swaps for female and male Erdrick respectively, if not for both. They wouldn't have to worry about that in such a case.

Well if the leaks are true it's still possible the leakers didn't know all the alts. I do think eight would be good to add for the popularity. But if they wanted 2 colors for each (well one color swap for each character) then we can only have 4 dq characters in one slot. but yeah more would be nice
