yeah that actually happened lolThe thing that makes Dragon Quest notable isn't "Sakurai played the game and liked it." That's a weak argument. It's the fact that written about and praised the series repeatedly that sticks out, especially his comparison of Kirby to a Dragon Quest character (see: Square Enix Character argument) and roundtable discussion with Junichi Masuda and Yuji Horii, director of Dragon Quest.
