Just use my suggestion, saying that the host is a guy who used to go to your college but moved and you wanna go visit? He'd probably house for the night, he offered last fest.

Hey guys, I didn't do so hot in my tourney today due to an iceclimbers using infinites on me.

I left a bit early but another Sonic main there (Shugo)was guaranteed at least 4th place when I left. I'd have to say he's the best sonic in America right now. This was his first tournament and I fought him in several matches and I must say that he plays a nearly flawless sonic with extreme technical skill and mind games. The only reason he lost was the same iceclimbers used infinites on him too.

plz flame me now for saying someone is better with Sonic than you are.

I'm flaming you for not getting the thread or any proof of results, especially if a Sonic got 4th in a tourney that has at least 13 people in it.



Also ICs are easy, I bet I could do just as fine as this guy... maybe.

Yeah, we need details. K.I.D, Kinzer, Boxob, Cat, Puffball, Infzy and me, and all the sonic mainers here are prominent as Sonic.

Infzy is just really smart, he claims he sucks himself, same thing with Tenki... except he has results from two college tourneys I believe.

Don't forget Camalange, he's at a tourney as we're typing and reppin' the Steak.

You also forgot a couple of other people, but I assume you were just pulling names from the first that came to your head, so I'll let it slide... and hopefully, they will too.

I'm terrible at Sonic matchups but I fought omniswell and the very first thing he said completely out of nowhere without me saying anything was "dude, you're better than anther" and I was like, oh that's cool but Shugo is a LOT better than me.

Also, I'm going to Pittsburg tomorrow to face camalagne and Boxob. I'll see if they do as well as Shugo. Also, Shugo fought a LOT of REALLY good people from Michigan and Ohio and made short work of them.

Another thing too is I've watched a LOT of the best sonic players' videos online and they don't even come close to how intense Shugo was playing. I genuinely hope that Boxob and Camalagne are better than Shugo but I guess I won't truly know until tomorrow.

Well, I just got the results from the tournament and he took 3rd out of 34 so plz post him on the front page.

I'm fairly certain he lost to two Ice climbers that used their infinites which IMHO should be banned. I'm done posting in the sonic forums for now because there's no way to prove anything one way or the other.

p.s. hes really bad in tourney.
if you are playing to win, youll probably trash him.
but if you are playing to do stuff that looks sexy, he'll probably wipe the floor with you lol

Kai and Blue both exclusively play in NJ. I am the only sonic player in NYC...but thats only because i went 2 school there and the community is like 20 times as cool. I do live in NJ and will be playing there alot more frequently (but NYC is still the best)

Nope ill have the tourney finals soon where i get cgd to death. At that point i didnt care about losing to ics. I managed to beat them both once though cuz i didnt get grabbed lol. Other than those upcoming vids i have no more :/.

you gotta play super safe, the only reason they arent banned/limited already is because there an effective method to beating them. I dont want to make it sound simple cause it isnt but all you have to do moves that wont get grabbed, like spaced back airs and f smashes and **** nana every chance you get.

its like playing 6 stocks against three cus you have to kill nana seperately everystock.

if nana was permanantly syched like a pikmin or something, it would be way more broken.

you have to focus on moves that seperate them. like Spindash and up air, and f-tilt

also when you get your results, can you please post them here, preferably in the proper format. It would be highly appreciated.

Dude, you're totally my hero with the gayer quote because it's the exact same thing I was thinking. I feel really really really bad though because I played some friendlies against omniswell before he faced you in the tournament and I think I gave him some good practice at chaingrabbing. I just really wanted an opportunity to rematch him and I managed to beat him once but the whole time I was just thinking to myself, "how can I play gayer against this strategy?"

That tourney was fun <3 low tier tourney was silly. 1st place was a Ness. Next 3 placements were all Sonic, lol. Camalange came in 9th I think in singles. Got screwed over playing the same guy in winners, and losers bracket, lol.

but this tourney thread doesnt matter as much as ankokus thread, this is just an archive of sonics that win tourneys, ankokus list actually legitamately directly affects the tier list.
