I mean, of course you can get pretty high if you use someone high tier, it's only natural.

Hell, I could go Ganondorf/Meta Knight and get top 8 at some of the bigger local stuff.

Good Steak, now I just to get my own tournament results up.

Only the ones with 9th place or better though, those are the only ones that are counted.

I got 17th at my first tourney, just a bit more practice and I'll be able to get Sonic somewhere.



My TO is kind of a hard guy to talk to though, he's like, really professional, I'm not sure if letting a 16 year old boy keep track of local tourney results would be of any benefit. :O

I went to a pub with work mates today, they were buying us all lunch for christmas. Only prob though was we could only choose from the lunchtime specials menu, the steak was twice as much as those. I had to make the choice, do i piss off the boss and ask for steak or suffer the inferior beef schnitzel.

I feel less confident if I try another character. Makes me feel like I'm doubting myself if I switch.

Haha, in all seriousness, there's nothing wrong with having CPs and stuff, after all, without them Sonic probably wouldn't have the ranking he does today. But I still go all Sonic for the reasons others have mentioned. Right now I'm at a point where I feel I don't have particularly hard match-ups with Sonic. That will prolly change as I play more high level peeps, but yea.

Bum's weekly is today and I wanna go, but its snowing metaknights so I dunno if I feel its worth the 15 bucks + Travel money. Not to mention I don't have my WiiChuck with me.

There are people out there who are putting up with the troublesome character that is MK with Sonic on his lonesome.

Anybody who can place high in tournaments with only Sonic has my instant respect, as I've said before.

lolll, no they didnt. The pools were originally the top4 advanced, so once I knew I was in, I was just playing lazily. But then they changed it to only the top 2 to cut down time, meaning I would no longer go on. =/
