Alright. Congratulations! I'll concede that you're all probably getting a remake revealed at Microsoft's conference. Bravo, bravo! But a spot in Smash is a stretch, guys. Don't you think? You might need to calm down a bit so we don't have another Grinch fiasco on our hands!

For far too long, fans of "rosterwank" characters like Banjo, Geno, and Isaac have controlled newcomer speculation. Well now I'm fighting back. People got way too greedy after getting fanservice characters like Ridley and K. Rool, so now they think their literal whos deserve to be playable as well instead of icons that defined generations.

I've definitely had an interest in it because of my affinity for old school 3D platformers but held off on it until the Switch port was announced. Hopefully we have an update on it soon.

Really though, I’d personally recommend the Steam version instead if you have a decent computer and don’t super need it to be portable, since it allows you to use all of the great community-made mods and stuff; it’s thus way more content for the same price. It’s also possibly going to be the only version that has the online multiplayer mode in the Nyakuza DLC since their current implementation of online is reliant on Steam’s API.

It’s definitely worth your money. It has a good balance between nostalgia, but not relying on it to be a good game.

Something to keepvin mind, though, is that Switch will 99% most likely not have mod support, but PC does.

The lighting on the machine is garbage. I work a little with 3D and animating, and the only scenarios I can think to explain that are very illogical.
