I can excuse that because it's probably just something they did to make the animation look smoother/more visible in motion, it just ends up looking awkward when freeze-framed. Like this for example;

Unrelated to the current topic but I just wanted to show my appreciation for these two dorks again, and it’s Splatoon so it’s on most of everyone’s minds already:

There’s an entire video showing off freeze framed Overwatch animations. It’s great.

Exactly, and I can excuse it because their animations look amazing from a big picture POV. I especially love Kazooie's look when Banjo's hanging on a ledge.

(and yes, I have screencapped the whole trailer, because I'm too obsessed)

You’re only a true fan if you have every individual frame saved on your PC. ;)

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, outsold the original. Thats a huge gain for the switch. Your underselling Mario Kart deluxe. That was a massive game as the wii u sales were trash. Barely anyone had it then, comnpared to now. That game is still huge and massively played. Its one of the top switch games currently. I really don''t think people dropped it for ARMs. Arms had enough on its own to earn the sales it got. Its release window was good, but if it released as the only big game of a month, right now, I wouldn't be shocked if it sold just as well. Of course there really isn't anyway to definitively prove or disprove this notion.
You’re missing the point of what I’m saying though. ARMS was the first genuine exclusive to release on the system that wasn’t 1-2 Switch, even Breath of the Wild had been on Wii U. Mario Kart 8 had been on the Wii U. It had extra hype behind it for that reason. And while Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is phenomenal and the best selling game on both the Wii U and the Switch... its also not necessarily a long term game you can just play for 70 hours like Zelda. A great deal of the early Switch players were just the standard Nintendo fans from the Wii U. They had played Mario Kart 8 a ton on that system for years. Even new people weren’t necessarily going to be so engrossed by Mario Kart that they weren’t on the lookout for something else new and exciting, it’s just never been that type of game haha.

Most Nintendo published games have broken the million mark on Switch though, so it may also just be a point that Switch stuff will sell on Nintendo’s name alone too. I know some people like the game, but it’s also the game I’ve seen drop off the most heavily of any Switch title from Nintendo. It’s really hard for me to look at those circumstances and not attribute it’s success, at least partially, to the circumstances of that moment.

I’m also more than willing to admit I’m probably somewhat biased because I find ARMS boring and highly overrated by the community, so take that for what you will, but I don’t think my commentary is off base on its success.

So...... Uh........

How is everyone?
xD I'm just eating a lemon muffin with milk while I watch Rabbids Invasion. Those little buggers always get a laugh out of me. And to think that back in 2006 I hated them guts.

You have to pick up to three odd and weird DLC for Smash. It doesn’t have to be fighters specifically, it can be anything. Go.

1. A Detective Hat for Pikachu to advertise the physical release of Pokémon Detective Pikachu.
2. “Happy Together” as a downloadable song for the game.

Sure, on the internet.

Irl I just kinda lay around all day, but that’s gonna change! I’m gonna get a job, and learn to drive, and start a YouTube channel, and start a pre college program, and convince a girl with incredibly low standards to get a pizza with me, and no one’s gonna stop me!

See? You have issues and your actively working to change them. That’s just proving my point.

Also, I don’t think anyone is as “epic” in real life as they may seem behind the screen, but trust me, your still being honest in your personality, and your personality says a lot about you, and they’re all good things. :)

xD Totally understandable! It took me ages to lower my hatred for them. And it was mostly thanks to McFarlane's toys/plushies of them that I began to appreciate them. Of course, if they were still with Rayman, I would have kept hating them, but since they are their own thing now, I find them actually funny and I adore how they suffer out of their own stupidity. As much as I wish Rayman had more stuff when it comes to merchandise, I can see why the Rabbids are more marketable than him. One day, maybe.

Rayman will always be the Hero of my childhood, of course, nothing will change that, despite some experiences with the fandom not being the best.

xD And well, I should draw my Templar Rayman vs. Assassin Rabbid at one point. (And not, I am not messing things up, that is how it will go).

The only real reason I find them annoying is due to the constant screaming and annoying noises. Remove that, and they’re fine.

lol I was joking about hating them. If you want my honest opnion, the style of humor isn’t my preference, but it’s not unbearable.

I have to admit. At first I liked the newcomer line-up in Ultimate, but now it leaves me feeling kind of disappointed. Why? Well, it's due to the lack of new female characters. Sure there were Inkling, Daisy, Dark Samus, and Isabelle, but two of those are echoes and one is a semiclone. Meanwhile, Sakurai also added Ridley, Simon, Richter, Chrom, K. Rool, Ken, Incineroar, Piranha Plant, Joker, Hero, and now Banjo, and all of those with the exception of Richter and Ken are full-fledged newcomers. Compare this to Smash 4 where we got lots of awesome and diverse newcomers, and Ultimate kind of feels like a step down in a way. I think Lyn, Ashley, Tsareena, and Shantae would have all been great additions while adding more diversity to the roster. Just my two cents.

xD Oh yeah, after knowing them for so many years, they also drove me mad with their DAAAAAAAHs and BWAAAAAHHHs everywhere. But I got used to it. I even got a plushie Rabbid that screams...

And honest to God, I will always hate the Minions guts more than the Rabbids (they came first after all). Now those things, I cannot stand or their freakin' banana potato bs.

Nah man don’t worry

We’ve got ten years until the next Smash, I’m gonna make sure Ashley gets a fanbase during that time

The Lilo and Stitch live action remake will surely be an affront to my childhood

But they should totally remake those trailers where Stitch crashed other Disney movies.

The movies he crashed all have remakes now, it’s perfect.

Never been.

When I want a good ol' box of fried, crispy chicken...I go to Popeye's. Can't go wrong there, and I like how you can choose between mild and spicy flavorings.
They tore down the Popeye's where I reside years ago, sadly. Now all we have over here for fried chicken is Bojangles and KFC...and I try to avoid the latter.

Minor nitpick, but Incineroar and Piranha Plant don't have confirmed genders. The former has been treated as a guy by the fandom due to its body type, but officially it's ambiguous and it's not like there aren't female bodybuilders. Also, Kazooie is still a half to the Banjo-Kazooie duo and she seems to have at least as much of an influence on their moveset as the duck does for Duck Hunt, so I wouldn't downplay her presence within that addition.

Granted, it doesn't change your point and I won't pretend I don't see where you're coming from, but those three examples are more debatable then the other characters.

Smash should remedy this lack of female representation by giving us Elma or somethin'...
