I’m mixed on leaks - I didn’t mind the Banjo one because I was pretty confident he would be on the Fighters Pass, but Ridley would have been a genuine surprise (less so after the E3 Direct made such a show about giving players what they want, but still). So far most of the leaks have been in the realm of plausible doubt so there’s still a great deal of tension whether or not they show up.

The datamines/screw ups like Brave and the Castlevania song are more frustrating as they tend to take the wind out it and kill the suspense. Props to the people who were still in denial over Simon even after the Bloody Tears leak!

There’s a possibility that one could be first party, maybe a Pokémon or a Fire Emblem or even Porky, but they probably all third party.

I've been wondering that for a while, and as a big collector myself (of all things game related, which is a bit of a problem the more I realize just how materially motivated the simple act of collecting is), I'd like to hear from others on their game collecting tendencies/desires/experience/etc.

I flip-flop on who I think the two ultimately will be, but I am fairly confident they are on this list.

I used to be bigger on getting physical versions of games, but after 20+ years of getting games... they just take up so much space. I got a 400 GB card on Black Friday for my Switch and it's been so convenient going digital on it.

I do have a pretty big DVD collection though. My most prized possession being the complete Dragon Box collection of DBZ, which had a limited print.

If there's going to be a 1st party promotional character in the game, it'll be a stand alone character(especially with the backlash towards Corrin). So far new 1st party Spirits are introduced by weekly Spirit events rather then the DLC Spirit Board which is definitely for 3rd party characters.
