Is anyone questioning how this date gives the government months to prepare for any increase in the number of visitors to Area 51?September 20th
The UFOs crashed, everyone knows aliens can't driveI mean, that sounds pretty odd that they just smacked a UFO out of the sky with a slingshot or some crap but ok.
Eh, I'm 13. No sense in worrying about it.
No back to modeling a stupid bear.
We go at night because the government will be sleeping. Is anyone questioning how this date gives the government months to prepare for any increase in the number of visitors to Area 51?
They’ll never be prepared for the Naruto runners and the Kyles after entering Monster energy modeIs anyone questioning how this date gives the government months to prepare for any increase in the number of visitors to Area 51?
Easy. To use all the new eyeballs they're getting from the Fighters Pass to promote a new game or a franchise returning.I have no idea how Nintendo could possibly benefit from adding any 1st Party at this point
Gonna be totally honest, I can't tell if your teasing me or not. LOLThe UFOs crashed, everyone knows aliens can't drive
its why they're taking so long to implement alien technology into the military, its all broken and they don't know how to fix it
All they need is one.I hope the three guys weird enough to actually go to Area 51 on September 20th don’t die
you really are willing to die on this advance wars hill, aren't youEasy. To use all the new eyeballs they're getting from the Fighters Pass to promote a new game or a franchise returning.
They don't have to be huge sellers like the 3rd parties. I mean the 3rd parties already in are doing a good enough job at that. Any 1st party in just needs to have a unique moveset to keep players who purchased the FP satisfied.
Well I live in the same state. How hard can it be?I hope the three guys weird enough to actually go to Area 51 on September 20th don’t die
nah, I'm just teasingGonna be totally honest, I can't tell if your teasing me or not. LOL
I'm not informed on this sort of thing, my apologies.
Well I mean I believe there's a small chance for Advance Wars DLC but I was speaking to the general philosophy behind a 1st party in the Fighter's Pass. The rationale for it isn't their name value but rather what they can promote and how unique their moveset can be, what they bring to the table.you really are willing to die on this advance wars hill, aren't you
I'm not gonna piss all over your hopes and dreams, so... I'll just say I disagree that it's in the running and leave it at that.Well I mean I believe there's a small chance for Advance Wars DLC but I was speaking to the general philosophy behind a 1st party in the Fighter's Pass. But yeah, out of all 1st parties I can only see AW or Astral Chain being the options. Might be too late for AC (aside from a Mii Costume) but AW still has a plethora of Spirits to use for the DLC Spirit Board and didn't get a Mii Costume in the base game (unlike Sin & Punishment, Custom Robo, Panel de Pon, Chibi-Robo, etc.). Series with new music like Rhythm Heaven/Style Savvy are out of the running and the situation with Golden Sun & ARMS is obvious. Whether intentional or unintentional, things are set up in a way that the series could plausibly be made DLC.
Would he like...self-narrate himself while slaughtering the aliens? Otherwise, I fail to see the rationale.Mark my words, if that (frankly insane) tiny group people manages to get into Area 51, they'll find the real Gordon Freeman hidden in it's depths, stored and kept alive and youthful in cryogenic slumber. The government is keeping him for when a aliens invade the Earth, at which point they'll release and equip him with a Gravity Gun and a Crowbar so he can take the threat out single-handley. They may even save him up an actual Resonance Cascade happens.
Gordon Freeman is stored in Area 51. Mark. My. Words.
Fair enough. I can see why some would be pessimistic for AW's prospects. Just wanted to throw out my rationale as to how the series still has a chance.I'm not gonna piss all over your hopes and dreams, so... I'll just say I disagree that it's in the running and leave it at that.
If you ask me, first-parties that already have music aren't out of the running, assuming 1st-parties will get in.Well I mean I believe there's a small chance for Advance Wars DLC but I was speaking to the general philosophy behind a 1st party in the Fighter's Pass. Gordon Freeman needs nothing more than a crowbar and a handful of modern and/or advanced weapons in order to defeat an alien armada.Would he like...self-narrate himself while slaughtering the aliens? Otherwise, I fail to see the rationale.
For me, it's a case-by-case basis. I like the Galar leak cause it tells a bunch of info I don't feel like waiting to find out. But I'm less fond of leaks that spoil more suspenseful things, like Smash reveals.Am I the only one who doesn't like leaks? They really just spoil things, and really, it's incredibly difficult to the people working on the game. They are trying to deliver something fun. I think leakers should respect that.
Oftentimes they're tied to bloodlines. Lucina says in one of her supports that if someone outside her bloodline attempted to wield Falchion, the blade would be dull as stone. In Shadows of Valentia, only Alm is able to wield the Royal Sword and when Tobin tries, he's unable to even lift it.oh yeah fire emblem swords. so what even is the deal with "no, we can only wield falchioin, it's our sword, no one else can use it" if no one else has even remotely tried to use it to see what would happen if they did
like what, is it gonna suck their soul out or something
I think if something like Rhythm Heaven or Style Savvy were to be DLC, they wouldn't have gotten new music in the base game. Not to mention all their bases are covered Spirit-wise (with Advance Wars, there's so many glaring omissions like Max, Sami, Nell, anyone from Days of Ruin). If you ask me, first-parties that already have music aren't out of the running, assuming 1st-parties will get in.
They could still bring in new tracks, i.e. "Porky Means Business!" along with a new stage.
Nah. You covered everything. Sucks too. I wanted to try to give Fire Emblem some more appropriate representation, but there's no way to do that without just going overboard.SnakeFighter64
The way you formatted the post made me unable to quote it, sadly.
It should be noted Alm uses a sword first and foremost, and the bow is his secondary weapon. Celica and Eliwood wouldn't really work as Robin and Roy echoes, respectively. Celica's magic style is totally different from Robin's and so is her swordplay. She's also much faster and doesn't even use tomes to cast spells. Eliwood wouldn't really work as a Roy echo due to the sheer size of his sword. Durandal is basically the size of the Buster Sword, if not bigger.
As for Byleth, a Pokémon Trainer styled selection really wouldn't work, mainly because you can only side with one house and you're unable to recruit the other house leaders. If I forgot anything you asked, just refresh my memory.
It's generally because the games mostly tell complete stories, wherein the endings offer a sense of closure. Like by the end of Mystery of the Emblem Marth has already permanently killed Gharnef and Medeus, and then became the ruler of the entire Archanean continent. There was nowhere else for his story to go.Nah. You covered everything. Sucks too. I wanted to try to give Fire Emblem some more appropriate representation, but there's no way to do that without just going overboard.
It's all because it has so many damn characters! I'll never understand the reasoning why games like Final Fantasy and Fire Emblem just abandon a world after one game. Plus it makes crossovers like this so damn difficult.
Legendary Spirit Tamer -> Chinderblock -> Ahm Skittish!Well, finally went with an ideal username. ...Seems a bit late though. But fun is fun~
...User title is still being worked on.
So if she were to make it into Smash, it sounds she’d be more her own fighter/semi-clone of Robin at least with most of their specials (without the tomes and limited use) like Luigi or Falco?Celica's magic style is totally different from Robin's and so is her swordplay. She's also much faster and doesn't even use tomes to cast spells.
That actually has to be the most obscure Pokemon in existence, and I applaud you for being so bold. The only first party you’re getting is Toxapex
Bringing the stall meta to Smash, baybee.
Was originally for Pride Month. But I still like having a Skitty form.Legendary Spirit Tamer -> Chinderblock -> Ahm Skittish!
Goodbye words that resemble English!
I kid, why the name change though?
I legit love ToxapexThat actually has to be the most obscure Pokemon in existence, and I applaud you for being so bold.
I like it personally. I mean yeah there's the surprise value for when something not talked about gets revealed but sometimes it's nice to know in advance. The thought of a character being talked about by insiders allows me to picture in my head how they'll play and then getting to see their actual moveset is pretty cool.Am I the only one who doesn't like leaks? They really just spoil things, and really, it's incredibly difficult to the people working on the game. They are trying to deliver something fun. I think leakers should respect that.
That would probably be the most unique character in terms of its proportions. The only first party you’re getting is Toxapex
Bringing the stall meta to Smash, baybee.
