Been playing Persona 5 Royal.

Really liking the Game so far, although the story is way more complex and darker than the memes leaded me out to believe, lol.

My favourite character so far has to be the owner of LeBlanc (Sojiro I think).

Spoiler: Persona 5 thoughts so far (spoiler warning).

Holy **** crime dilemmas, physical abuse, suicidal attemps, emotional tension, most people doubting you as a well person, strange friendships and god knows how more I'm missing.

This game is an emotional rollercoaster, and a good one at that. I really like the writing in this.

The Gameplay is also quite addictive, and I appreciate the presence of fast travelling.

Really invested so far overall.

This makes me nostalgic to when I first played the game.

This party of characters ended up being a lot more relatable than I initially thought when i started playing

My favourite character so far has to be the owner of LeBlanc (Sojiro I think).

I'm just working my way up on web page languages, learning CSS, JS and the sort.

I studied coding for a while before 2019, now I'm studying it from home again since 1, I wanted to learn it anyway, and 2, it's not like I can go out much. Getting another productive thing done with my life while at home.

A sequel seems unlikely. Silicon Knights, the developer, sued Epic Games because the Unreal Engine was not working for them. The whole thing is detailed here.

While I don't understand all of the legal terminology, it went so poorly for Silicon Knights that they were forced to recall and destroy unsold copies of X-Men Destiny and Too Human (both of which were made with the Unreal Engine), and they shut down a few years later.

It's a shame; I really liked Eternal Darkness and Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes, though I haven't played any of their other games.

That’s kind of wacky to find out a game I used to sit and enjoy during my childhood was a company’s last form of media, made while they were in a bad spot and right before they filed for bankruptcy. Technically, I only ever played X Men Destiny, but I’m sure they made some other good games too. It sucks that it ended the way it did.

It's tough, yeah, I'm not that good at it myself yet, but I know I'll get there. It's skill and knowledge that I want to have.

From what I have learned so far, I'd say coding is something that anyone can learn, but if it's not something you enjoy and unless you really have the ambition to learn it and later work with it, then it's probably not for you. Coding definitely isn't for everyone.

Are you considering going to a tech school to hone your craft?

Not really. There are plenty of online course opportunities that I'm eyeing that have coding courses but also other course options that I may want to take or at least look into and see if they'd interest me first.

I wanna learn tech but I don't need to become a supreme knowledgeable overlord of it to find and maintain a job (from home), which is what I'm focusing on first and foremost. And it's just not my primary goal in life. Right now I'm trying to figure that goal out. I'm just trying to hone enough skills for a good resume as well as for my own overall benefit since I use tech a lot in my life anyway.

If the rule remains in effect for the development of future Paper Mario games, then it is exclusively a bad thing and needs to change.

I'm willing to give Origami King a go and I'm sure it'll be great, but this rule is just plain dumb and whatever higher-ups are enforcing it need to get a clue and realize the fans aren't happy about it by now.

Another big issue I have with modern Paper Mario is that they insist on having an RPG battle sysyem despite the developers admitting that they don't want to make a Mario rpg.

If I've learned anything on my time on the internet is that when it comes to gaming, positive change is nearly impossible to accomplish no matter what fandom tries to do it

It's been too long since I've played Pokken, but I think its a really fun game. I'm a Shadow Mewtwo main myself because I love the versatility of his playstyle, but I really a lot of that game's other roster picks as well.

I forgot how much I loved to play Croagunk. There are others, like Braixen, Blaziken, and Gardevoir. But Croagunk will always be one of my favorite. His moveset and design and anything else. Pokken is a lot like ARMS. Fun, but not for too long. You’ll have to wait until the next day in order to enjoy it again.

So I was right in suspecting that Nintendo wouldn't allow third party companies to change up their characters. A stupid rule for sure, can't defend that.

Origami King tried to work around this by giving us more costumed creatures like Professor Toad, but you can teel that they really wanted to do more in some areas, but the Big N wouldn't allow them. I hope this restriction gets removed.

We should probably back off Tanabe for now, he's only following the rules Ninty put out in front of him.

I need to ask two questions regarding Persona 5 as I'm currently stuck in a point of the Game:

Spoiler: Hiding because they contain small spoilers:

>First of all, you are forced to kill off Arsene as part of the tutorial which explains you how to fuse Personas. I was wondering if some time later in the story you are given back Arsene or instead need to complete a sidequest. Arsene has my favourite design out of all the Personas so far.

>Second, I'm currently at the Castle of that pile of **** known as Kamoshida. The enemies are really strong and I feel I entered the Castle too soon as I lose a lot of HP during Battles. I am able to succeed at most battles but I end up using too many heal recovery items and sooner or later they are all used. I was wondering if there's a way to go out of the castle just to buy more medicine with the money adquired from battles, as I feel that will help me a lot during the toughest part of the castle.

Will tag osby as he has already played the Game and may be able to help me with both questions.
