-What could be cool ideas for new tracks?
-What retro tracks would you like to see?

I hope they start (or keep, I guess) adding retro tracks for courses that were already retro tracks before. Ones from DS/Wii especially, they weren't "upgraded" as much as the retros from 7/8. Choco Mountian, Delpino Square, Mushroom City, Sky Garden, all courses I'd love to see get an HD overhaul.

I feel like if you're gonna do a Sonic only fighting game you really should just commit to that idea. NiGHTS I guess is fine because it's Sonic team, but I feel like you're dissuading the notion that Sonic's roster of characters can carry the game on it's own

To be fair Sonic and Joker have technically appeared 3 times in the same game, one more couldn't hurt lol

How would you feel about these being the retro courses for MK9?

SNES: Mario Circuit 4, Ghost Valley 3
N64: Choco Mountain, DK’s Jungle Parkway
GBA: Riverside Park, Sunset Wilds
GCN: Mushroom City, Wario Colosseum
DS: Waluigi Pinball, Airship Fortress
Wii: Maple Treeway, Toad Factory
3DS: Shy Guy Bazaar, Rock Rock Mountain
Wii U: Mount Wario, Cloudtop Cruise

It's good. You have the two best DS stages, and decent 7, DD, and Wii choices. I don't know about having it be two each, I don't know if we should sacrifice the great selection from Wii and 7 for Super and SC

This would be for base, more could come in DLC, I was trying to be fair to all the games and a lot of great tracks from those games had their chance to shine in HD with 8 already.

Yeah, guest characters are cool and all but if you're relying on them to sell your product then you don't have enough faith in your product. Smash is a little different since it's conceived as a crossover from the beginning.

If you don’t mind, I’d like to hear you describe what you had in mind for these tracks

Okay I will try to describe these:
1. Bone Dragon Mines was based on Rock Candy Mines as well the Bone Dragon levels.
2. Due to poor Yoshi being shafted, I gave him a town track inspired by Rail-Yard Run, the 1st level of Crafted World.
3. Waluigi hasn't had a new track after his partner Wario got more, so I went with an casino.
4. The ocean is always awesome and terrifying.
5. Ruined Kingdom was one of my favourite Kingdoms and a track with the dragon itself would be awesome to see. (I picture the Lord of Lightning destroying huge parts of the track itself trying to stop or downright kill ya.)

Maybe in the home game he’s limited by dialogue choices, but other games like P5: Dancing Star Night or PQ2, and supplementary material like the anime and manga to go off of

Pac-Man has talked before in some games and other media (though he’d likely need a new VA for his Classic form), and Mega Man would be based off his recent MM11 incarnation who has a voice and dialogue (maybe with a bit of different voice direction), bottom line is that I see these guys being more likely to participate in those kinds of dialogue interactions before Mario at the moment.

I wouldn't say Joker has no character but rather he isn't very vocal. If you're worried about him not being able to explain stuff in detail, maybe he can carry Morgana with him to do the most of the talking?

Appeearently Vietnam is a totalarian state, which is part of how they were able to respond so quickly.

Not gonna lie, this sounds kinda suspicious. I mean didn't China pull a stunt where they said there were no deaths when in reality they've had the most deaths on the planet and are just hiding the actual numbers?

And now a country right next door to China says something eerily similar? If they actually managed to pull this off good for them thats pretty impressive, but it kinda waves a red flag to me.
