I remember the exact moment the show got “real”. That jailbreak episode. I didn’t exactly know how, but I knew the show had shifted at that very moment. All those years ago.

I’ll be honest, I haven’t always liked what the show has done, but it’s been a ride and I’ll be sad to see it go. But not too sad. Seven years and a movie is a good run.

Y'know, all this talk about SU and Star VS. reminded me to Gravity Falls and something about the show that I've never given much thought about...
Mabel is kind of a selfish jerk.

From watching JelloApocalypse's "So This is Basically etc" video on GF where it's pointed out how Mabel throughout the series has been continuously forcing Dipper to make sacrifices for her just so she can have more summer fun & hang out with cute boys.

Even Bill calls her out on this aspect of her personality in one episode, and doesn't exactly grow from it near the end of the series.

I'll see if I can play the MUA3 stuff this weekend. Not sure if I can nab the DLC yet, but it is what it is.

I mean, hey. I’m sure there were peeps adamant that an ARMS character would never ever happen, cuz of the assist trophy. And yeah, people will still go “okay ARMS got in but there’s NO WAY [example] will!” But it just goes to show that we don’t know ****. Don’t let other fans tell you what can and can’t happen, cuz they don’t know anything. Unless the developers shut it down themselves, don’t stop believing!

Also, no one is mentioning Misango, who is also a similar build to Spring-Man. He's one of my favorite characters in the game, so if there's a color swap or costume of him, I'm even happier.

It’s not like I could excuse it, it’d still be stupid, but if the writing for this season was top notch maybe it wouldn’t be so glaring.

But y’know, it wasn’t.

People complain about season 3 too, but I personally think it was just fine. Eclipsa was great. The Mewni setting was interesting and deserved to be explored more. Meteora was a solid Big Bad and addition to Star's rogues gallery in the forces of evil.

Season 4 was when the shipping drama overstayed it's welcome, major plot points that were set-up finally got ignored or dropped altogether (including plot points not just from every past season, but also season 4 itself) character writing became inconsistent, and finally, the one that introduced the most plot holes and the most glaring ones of all. Then came the ending, and, well...yeah, let's just say I agree with what you just said.

Anyways, I still don't think Stevonnie should be endgame unless they do like a transition into the future (again) and show them as responsible adults who've worked out their issues and actually make time for each other. As they are now though they need some time so throwing in a solidified relationship between them in the end will feel rushed IMO.

And I'm still certain we won't see Lapidot or Amedot despite the fandom's outcries because that's not what the show is about (even though a Peridot fusion sounds so ****ing cool).

I'm actually very surprised they never really delved into Lapidot, but oh well. On the other hand...I always disliked Amedot, so you don't see me complaining on that front.

I, personally, can do with less shipping (be it drama or not) in all of my favorite shows after the trainwreck that was Star vs. the Forces of Evil.

On the other hand, with all the shipping drama that fandoms go through, I’m tempted to tease as many shippings between my characters as ethically possible and watch people argue and start drama over their ships.

...am I horrible? I feel like I wouldn’t need to ask that if I wasn’t but I need a second opinion.

Creators are allowed a bit of trolling.

What I would do is plant a bunch of ships all over the place, then pull a Regular Show and have every single on not come true and have them all fall in love with random characters we've never seen before.

So, I’m actually animating for a VR recreation of FNAF: Sister Location.

Seeing my animations in a game? Surreal.

Seeing them in a VR Game? Even more surreal.

Seeing them in a VR horror game? Insane.

So, yeah, we’ll see how this goes! Got the two of Funtime Freddy’s animations from night 2 done, and am currently working on an animation for an easter egg character. (Yenndo.) I may also be doing all of Ennard’s animations. If I do end up doing that, I hope to actually give Baby/Ennard’s shpiel on night 5 a fully animated cutscene, which will be fun.

That’s the thing, man. You can’t please everybody, make a show you’d want to watch and hopefully it’ll catch a fanbase. And on another note, being a part of modern cartoon fandom gives us an insight of what to do and what not to do when we finally get our own projects. We know what annoys us about cartoons and we’ll try to avoid them.

But yeah, I wanna build strong relationships between my characters regardless if it’s platonic or romantic or otherwise. Any ships I do make canon I’ll try not to waste time meandering around but still have them develop the relationship as naturally as I can, especially if it’s an LGBTQ+ relationship as there’s no way I’d just throw that in at the final scene, I would not forgive myself for doing that.

I’m a little surprised too, but they said recently she’s meant to represent people who prefer no relationships.

Which kinda of makes sense, but there is also a fair amount of show content that goes against that idea, it it’s hard to show that either way I suppose.
