All the Ghibli films I've watched are because they've aired on TV.

Can't really say they're for me.

I was close to liking Howl's Moving Castle but the story just kept falling apart as it went on.

I saw Spirited Away and Howl's Moving Castle because I think Cartoon Network or HBO or one of those channels showed them at some point back when I was younger and I loved them. And then a few years back me and my friend marathoned a few films like Totoro during a Skype Call. I also saw Ponyo on my own.

At the time I was like "people want a c-string Mario character over Banjo!?!" like that was rational for some reason. I now realize it's not, but the dislike of the character from when I thought like that kind of carried over, even though I know the original thought was ridiculous. And again, I apologize for the way I spoke.

On top of that, there's plenty of characters people have been requesting for just as long. Sora, Bandana Dee, Krystal - why no hate for them?

I remember the exact moment the show got “real”. That jailbreak episode. I didn’t exactly know how, but I knew the show had shifted at that very moment. All those years ago.

I’ll be honest, I haven’t always liked what the show has done, but it’s been a ride and I’ll be sad to see it go. But not too sad. Seven years and a movie is a good run.

I can say the same, but no show is without some flaws somewhere. Furthermore, Future has been addressing a lot of things I disagreed with or have complicated opinions on from the prior seasons, so I have that.

Star. Vs.' ending was all kinds of terrible. It deserved so much better.

That being said, reflecting on Season 4, most of it was pretty convoluted, unfocused, inconsistent, riddled with plots holes and way too much shipping drama, turned the personalities of it's own protagonists into mood-swinging blank slates that barely resemble the characters they used to be without justification or any build-up throughout most of it's episodes, and was just overall poorly written anyway. The Godawful ending was the climax to all of the show's increasing writing problems.

Steven Universe Future, on the other hand, has been a solid and consistent season's worth of writing up to this point. As long as they don't falter near the end, then I'm sure we're in for a satisfying conclusion to the epilogue and the show as a whole.

Also, how did Star Vs end?

It ended worse than Game of Thrones.

Like, so many creatures who were innocent in all this are dead now, and what was the point of Glossaryck existing as a messenger of magic or whatever if his purpose was to just die with all of it? What was the point of the multiverse even farting out magic to begin with? Wasn't Father Time magical since spells could literally overthrow his government of the concept?

Oof that's gotta be the worst cartoon finale in recent memory for how mindless the entire thing was.

Anyways, I still don't think Stevonnie should be endgame unless they do like a transition into the future (again) and show them as responsible adults who've worked out their issues and actually make time for each other. As they are now though they need some time so throwing in a solidified relationship between them in the end will feel rushed IMO.

And I'm still certain we won't see Lapidot or Amedot despite the fandom's outcries because that's not what the show is about (even though a Peridot fusion sounds so ****ing cool).

I haven't watched a single episode since the hiatus. I want to see the whole thing all at once. My anxiety will just not do well with cliffhangers in this current state.

Really wish we had gotten a new villain honestly. I wanted to see this world expand. And that's not really what happened. And I still want to know who created the gems in the first place. At least we finally got a character that could be considered a continuing permenant villain in Bluebird Azurite. Although she makes a pretty lame arch nemesis.
