had a fun time with it, game is still super rough in places and clearly 8-10 months away from launch but provided they're as proactive with taking the survey feedback as they were with octopath it should all turn out fine
i do think it's a mistake to call it a 'demo', though -- it's definitely more akin to a technical beta test than anything else, and people going in to be sold on an accurate representation of the final product are likely going to just go away a little confused and frustrated: bugs and weird technical stuff aside, as it stands it's intentionally tuned up to the game's highest difficulty purely to encourage people to playtest powerful job builds for balance/bug-testing reasons (rather than just steamrolling through it and providing no useful data)
my concern is that a lot of people will go in, see the technical issues and borderline absurd difficulty, and just think "wow this game feels unfinished and is hard as balls, never mind then", and that'd be a big shame
