Mario certainly knows a thing or two about road safety as far as I can see...

Man, if you ask me, that is one ugly Mario costume?

Mario looks a bit uncanny, looks like my sleep paralysis demon who takes random forms.

Finished watching Krampus.

Decided to add another Christmas movie to watch this year. Jingle All the Way starring Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Also for anyone whose seen Gremlins 2 is that also a Christmas movie like the first one if not I'll just watch that next year (January).

That's because the lore is that Bowser Jr. created all of the bosses and enemies in the game, or rather, most of them, using his Magic Paintbrush. You can even see this in action with those drawings that spawn the Stus in the Secret Levels.

Has anyone been playing the Shovel Knight update?
I've played Showdown, at least. Not sure how you're supposed to beat Story Mode on Hard difficulty; even the two-on-one matches are nightmares, and I can't imagine how bad the three-on-one matches will be. (enemies seem to parry or counter your attacks flawlessly, and mercy invincibility seems to be non-existent, though I've read that it deactivates if you attack)

I still need to play through Plague Knight and Specter Knight's stories, let alone King Knight's.

You want some random analysis of LEGO games? Too bad you’re getting it.

I think there’s a reason LEGO Dimensions was the only LEGO game I ever actually felt the urge to complete. It’s that everything was sectioned off. When the game launched, the hub worlds all roughly equaled the space of the large connected worlds they were giving us in other titles, but because they were sectioned I go different worlds Banjo-Kazooie style, everything felt much more manageable. Not to mention, due to the games you pad mechanic, you could complete a story level on your first go through without having to replay it in “free play” mode. Compare that to LEGO DC Super Villains for example. Because it uses the free play mechanic, you HAVE to play a level twice to complete it. Even if you know what to do and where to go. And the large open hub world is daunting and overwhelming, and not easily sectioned off for the sake of time management.

If I were doing the game, I would have taken the dimensions approach. I would still have these open explorable areas, but I would section them off. Instead of being able to walk from Gotham to Metropolis to the Slaughter Swamp, you would have to warp to these and other locations in some smaller hub area, like The Hall of Doom. I dont know how to fix the issue of having to play each level twice. Especially since certain abilities like flight break some levels in half.

Yeah it is a bit unbalanced and not much easier when you have a second player helping. But you can at least unlock everyone going through easy mode.

You're ******* telling me. A few years now and still can't get rid of it. I really want to start writing again...-_-
Develop an outline and see what you can do. Best kind of advice I can give. Idea in your head out of nowhere? Write it down.

I've trying to write a sort of traveller's tales type of story. It's making the locations connect has been my problem and the latter half of story.

Yeah. Just now, on my trusty old 3DS of all things. I'm really early in, and I just beat Specter Knight's boss fight at the third level, but I can already tell that the shoulder bash & spin jump mechanic is gonna be really fun to apply to a whole host of different situations. It's super intuitive, mobility-wise.

I mean, I heard that from some videos I watched about how the alt right signal to each other. Is it not true?
I mean, even if this were true, it wouldn’t necessarily change the meaning of the gesture for everyone. If it were that easy to hijack a commonly used gesture, why not hijack something even more mundane, like waving hello?

Imagine if you suddenly couldn’t wave hello to anyone anymore because someone somewhere arbitrarily changed its meaning to something you strongly disagree with and you were just forced to accept that.

absolutly not. Its like how people are hell bent on saying pepe the frog is a hate symbol when in actuallity, Dumbasses turned it into one and the frog itself is 100% fine
