I know we aren’t at the 2018th page yet, but I wanted to make a throwback to this masterpiece of a commercial that really pushes the true limits of current-day special effects

Ugh, I'd like to forget that Tom Hardy's Venom exists. I just want a good movie with Venom! (and Carnage for that matter) There are so many great Spider-Man villains we haven't seen yet!

I also remember the GBA game being a surprisingly good Metal Slug clone, especially for a movie tie in which tend to suck normally.

I swear I experienced more trauma in this one year than I have for my entire life before then. Jesus Christ. I’m still not well! It’s damaged me possibly irreversibly.

I liked Smash speculation in 2018.

Sure there was Chair Theory, and Mr. Grinch, but it felt more exciting. I’m glad the *ahem* Microsoft wars are over now, though we may still have to deal with some jerks for upcoming DLC.

I came back here in August last year after K. Rool got announced; I originally joined in 2013.

I don’t really have much else I want to say, though Ultimate released on my birthday...

If there is any moment I remember cleary right now, is this.

Joker Reveal before the game even launch was still a noteworthy moment to me, if only because it was completely unexpected, and it was in december too, it felt like a good note to end pre-launch Ultimate Speculation.

I remember when Sakurai announced when the roster was picked out and finalized. That completely turned the speculation upside down. Characters like Rex, Spring Man, and Decidueye went from the most likely to the bottom. For the latter people now used concept art (which turns out was what they did again) and Incineroar joined the fray.
