It's obvious they're going to pull a "released.....today!" stunt since they shoved a balance patch out early before the tournament so 4.0 can 'just' be the new character+new ****.
The question is will character 2(3 technically) be Banjo.

i think a banjo title coming from microsoft or at least a tease at a remaster/remake is in the air but definitely not as a character.

Exactly, Capcom, I think has the coolest pool of characters to pull from other than Nintendo themselves. Jill, Dante, Nero, Chun-Li, MMX, Zero, Mega Man EXE Ammy, Phoenix Wright, ect.
Sega's not far behind either, cause Jet Set's cast is pretty sick Virtua Fighter, Madworld and Joe Mushashi ect.

Capcom definitely have some of the best options to pull from which makes me really hope Nintendo double dipped with them after picking up Ken. Leon pls.
If it ends up being neither of them then I think I'm more excited.
Bit longer than last years, I wonder if some game is going to take a huge focus like Ultimate did or if we'll have a lot of smaller segments.

Still a weird choice they HD-ifyed the GB artstyle, rather than make the models look like the hand-drawn artwork. That's what ALBW's did, and the remake could have blown that out of the water.

- Probably an extra 3 minutes that summarized the Sun & Moon direct

The character on the right became a running gag cause his AI is poor causing him to constantly use moves like Thwack and Wack spells which are instant kills moves but they always fail and rarely work
it became a meme in the series

Hey Shiny, if you need some time to really get your thoughts together nobody can blame you for that. It certainly wasn’t a fun experience for anybody involved.
But remember this: you matter, and always will. Might be easier said than done, but don’t beat yourself up over anything. You’re a good kid. You have support here if you need it.

What are the chances they also have some new Mario Sports title? It's been a hot minute since the Golf game on 3DS.
Though I'd rather have Strikers if only for the Attitude Era appeal it has. Imagine if Funky, Pauline or Rosalina got added as Captains. Imagine the Pop-Offs.
