That's kind of part of why I'm actually kind of excited for the Wild Area. On my first playthrough I'll probably be using only Gen 8 Pokemon, but on later ones its going to be really fun making teams based off whatever decides to appear in the Wild Area.
Also nice that this is probably going to be the first main series game that doesn't lock you to one save file, a feature that's been long overdue. If Let's Go is anything to go by we'll probably be able to skip cutscenes to.
Funny how for games with such great replay value, GF has never really wanted people to replay them in the past. But hey, better late then never.

I like this a lot. Damn near a dream come true. Though I'd yeet Roll for a Mega Man BN or MMSF character. And maybe swap Miles for Miguel since he's my 2nd favorite of the Spider-Men(it'd also parallel Mega Man X with OG Mega Man). But I can easily see why you'd go for Miles to be the Ken to Spider-Man's Ryu.
Aaaaand maybe Moon Knight or Blade over Falcon.

Takes time to develop DLC. We should be so thankful they showed off Banjo so early, which was balanced waiting six months after Joker's reveal.
Look at it this way, if they gave us a teaser for fighter 4, we would probably be left waiting until December to know fighter 5. I'd rather have then spaced out.

We were fortunate to get anything at EVO last year. Nintendo doesn't schedule their presentations around these things, it was just good timing that one was imminent and therefore could be announced.
We also had twelve reveals from E3 to Ultimate's release in December, so they could afford to do them more frequently. We only have two left for the next seven months.

I was thinking Miguel would be an alt character for Spider-Man. I did want to bring in alt characters again like Ken for Ryu and War Machine for Iron Man
Unfamiliar with the other Mega Man series so what they could bring, I was thinking Roll would have more melee combat than Mega Man as well as moves from her Tatsunoko vs. Capcom appearance. Might consider Blade but the potential for the wing blade/shield combat plus the back rockets and bird drone make him interesting to me
***** if we're getting an anti-hero Venom I better see Flash on the list.

Well considering that Sabi's source posted a bird and if it's a hint towards Smash, it's either Velvet or Nakoruru IMO. But I don't see a character reveal tomorrow. Maybe there will be a Smash Direct announced for later with Banjo info and exact release date and DLC Fighter #4.

In a sense, the Lizard is almost like my boi. Everyone knows they are big in their respective universes but they are taken for granted...

I'd suggest finding other games to play. Helps pass the time. I'm going through RE4 on Switch right now, and I just finished Kero Blaster.

Ummm. The links in Smash all have the exact same moveset. The only difference is Old Link’s remote controlled bombs.
But yeah. Just make Miles a skin with different voice lines.

Does he though? They've pretty much explored all the story potential he has already as a conflicted villain that can't help his villainy due to his lizard brain, his attempts to return to a pure human, and even his Lizard side taking too much control (when he ate his son who normally was able to calm him back down).
Honestly, I don't think he can carry a story on his own.
I mean, yeah, its mostly because in regards to Villains, there aren't a great many that are used in Marvel vs Capcom..and those that were were primarily used due to re-using assets from previous games (X-Men: Children of the Atom, Marvel Super Heroes, X-Men vs Street Fighter). Venom in Marvel vs Capcom 1 was actually the only Marvel villain not re-used but made from scratch for a proper MvC game until MvC3.I just checked the historical roster and was shocked to see the only Spider-Man villain to appear was Venom. Inexcusable
Though, fun fact, Doc Ock's tentacles were found in the code for vanilla MvC3, so he was almost in a Marvel vs Capcom game..but licensing likely kept him out (I was a mod for Capcom when it was being developed, I recall being told that the team had a hard time obtaining the right to JUST Spider-Man on his own, so yeah..likely due to Activision holding the Spider-Man license for Video Games at the time.
Actually, comics fans have been wanting the X-Men to come back for a while now and are glad to see them primarily due to Marvel literally trying to kill them off and replace them with the Inhumans due to not having the movie rights to them (its very childish and money driven on Marvel's part..)Popularity isn't always lasting. Only on a surface level are the Links the same.
Even though they have different sizes due to Miles being younger? Miles could incorporate his electrical attacks and invisibility as well as his own flair to webs and acrobatics, there could be more differences if Peter gets his gadgets from the PS4 game. They made She-Hulk and X-23 different so why not Miles?

Debatable. I'd say he does given his and Spider-Gwen's inclusion in MUA3 was probably a result of Into the Spider-Verses popularity and box office success.

Three Houses has apparently already sold 15 times what Radiant Dawn sold. Sales were on a downward trajectory from PoR to NMotE, and Awakening needed to sell 250K to keep the franchise going. We also know RD didn't sell more than 500K. So it likely sold between 300 and 400K. If we take the low-ball estimate of 300K for Radiant Dawn, that means that Three Houses has likely sold around 4.5 MILLION copies, making it the best selling game in the series by far.
Even if we REALLY low-ball it to match Awakening's cancellation number of 250K, that's still 3.75 million copies.

That's only in the UK, though. Not overall.
I'm sure the game is performing very well, but that statement was referring to 3H's performance compared to RD just in the UK, not globally.

Who I'd want to see for a Marvel vs Capcom 4, were it to happen, based on a 36 Fighter Roster (since they had a 30 base in Infinite and 36 after DLC and can likely re-use a lot of those assets to give us a 36 roster base).

He absolutely can. I can think of at least 4 scenarios they can take with the character.
1. It could be a more internal endeavor where we actually see Connors reaction to events along with the Lizard's and the conflicts that come with his transformations.
2. There could be a follow-up to the idea I mentioned earlier where a storyline brought up that it might all be Curt Connors all along and he takes his anger out on his former unit and developing the Lizard-side's intelligence.
3. A What If scenario where Curt has remained in the Raft for decades and has permanently merged the two (a la Professor Hulk) which resulted in a bizarre middle personality that is curious but also cunning. It could be from the perspective from SHIELD agents who agree to work with this tumultuous creature who uses both of his intelligence and strength for their purposes (though he has agendas of his own).
4. Just a simple spin-off of the current Nick Spencer run where he's basically a good guy...
that pretty much is what happens in the original. connors was always paranoid af about any situation wondering how it could go wrong if the lizard showed up and every now and again he would have bits of humanity before the usual "blah blah lizard people blah blah"
the only weird part is that he transformed into the lizard at random with no reason behind it, he just conveniently happened to transform cause reasons

Plus its Marvel. There's many versions of characters that are completely different from the mainstream 616 counterparts.
Spider-Man: Friend or Foe had Dr. Curt Connors/Lizard as more of a hero then a villain searching for a cure across the world to turn himself back to normal.

Maybe, but I still don't think it'd be that interesting for a stand-alone title, personally, and I don't think it would have a lot of readership since, while an iconic Spider-Man character, he doesn't have the popularity of someone like Venom, so even if they did a Lizard series, there's a chance it wouldn't finish, which would be worse then just not doing it..but I do think that a Prof. Hulk-like 'Dr. Lizard' would be interesting path to take the character on and have him team up with Spider-Man similar to how Clayface has with Batman in Batman Inc.He absolutely can.
