It’s fun

Nothing amazing, I barely even remember it to be honest, but it’s a fun time waster.

If you feel like wasting a few hours on an easy, cute game, and you can stand the terrible motion controls, I say go for it. It’s not hardcore in the slightest, though.

I played it, forgot to save, everything went down the drain, and I gave up.

I’m so good at games.

I think the game's worth it for $30-40. I had fun.

It's an adorable nostalgia trip that's more relaxing than challenging. It takes out a lot of the monotony of Pokemon games so you're never really stressed about it. You can just catch what you want and enjoy all the cute animations and modernized music.

Plot Tiwst: Hero was supposed to come earlier, but fans were asking to much, and this is our punishment.

They’re the son/daughter of a respected mercenary... and the archbishop Rhea has a plan that involves Byleth.

It’ll probably be answered later on, cause even her advisor, Seteth, asked the same question when she proposes the idea.

You're required to log in to Bethesda.net to play. Despite the games not needing you to log in for decades. And also the servers are struggling.

I doubt we're getting anything Hero-related today. If they handle this the same as Joker, we'd technically be getting Hero on Saturday, and Saturday releases are extremely rare.

I'm actually leaning toward either the last day of July (a Wednesday like Joker), or early August.

I wasn't impressed much nor even remotely surprised, either. It was kinda like how I reacted to Simon Belmont, there was enough talk about him that I found it pretty likely that he was gonna be in, but the difference between him and The Hero's reveal is that I was actually excited to see and play as Simon. Simon's trailer impressed me, so did Incineroar's, which had the added satisfaction bonus of shutting down the Grinch leak, :ultjoker: and :ultpiranha: were both completely shocking to me for different reasons, and most of the others like :ultridley::ultkrool::ultisabelle::ultbanjokazooie: had me losing my head, in a good way. By contrast, The Hero is the one unique newcomer I can honestly say I feel no real hype for. I was neither impressed nor surprised by them.

There's nothing wrong with discussing leaks for those who really want to know ahead of time who's gonna be in, but Erdrick "debates" happened so freaking much that they got oversaturated, imo. And again, that doesn't exactly help drum up excitement for someone who knows almost nothing about the character's source material. To each their own. It's a personal opinion and I think in the future I might just start stepping away from any speculation scenes should another Erdrick situation happen. If a given newcomer isn't one I was really rooting for, then I'd at least like that newcomer's reveal to surprise me.

I haven't been active, but have we seriously been considering a Smash release on the same weekend as their global Fire Emblem relase?

I heavily doubt it.

I fail to see how this can be a Nintendo decision, this has to be all Bethesda, absolutely no other game required a login, let alone DRM.

How do you screw up a port of a 20+ year old game?

And that's my second reasoning. Makes more sense to spend the weekend upselling a $60 FE game than distracting everyone with DLC.

Granted, three Smash amiibo came out today, but that's a little different I feel. I don't expect anything until July 29th at the absolute earliest.

It's impossible to be one. This Unity and DRM version of Doom is also on PS4, Xbone, and smartphones, and thus will have all the same problems.
