Thats more like it, especially if you've seen him do it before already, then you should be looking for it again if he is even that close (which he shouldn't be).

iirc He has the second longest spot dodge frames in the cast, second to MK.
There's a very small window to land that grab, even with a pivot.

I don't think you remember this but let me drill it in your head. When Ice Climbers hit the grab button, TWO GRABS ARE COMING OUT. So if he picks an option that isn't spotdodge again (without buffering it) and you're in range to grab him, you WILL get him.

I think your main problem is you aren't using your head to fight your opponent, you're using your character to fight the opponent. You need to actually THINK of your options sometimes before charging in, and remember what your opponent does so you can catch him in traps.

D3 vs ICs is terrible for D3. The only way we win is if we somehow get past the Blizzard walls and separate them.D3s grab definitely helps this. But approaching is so hard for D3. Blizzard beats pretty much everything we have if spaced at maximum distance.IBs can force an approach because our only means of camping (waddle dee toss) is pretty much useless. ICs Upair beat D3s down air...its dumb lol. Like I said D3 only wins if he finds a way in, separates them and doesnt let them sync up again. Its extremely hard though.

Ice Blocks stops out any waddle throws that are too close to the ground as well as forces hitlag on moves so they are better to react to (i.e. Ftilt, which semi-beats Blizzard), which Blizzard can't do.

lol it's not THAT extreme. Sopo can cg DDD till around 110% but DDD can cg sopo at any %. DDD has a much easier time grabbing sopo, and is really hard to kill as sopo.

It's no more then 60:40 IC's. I've played against every good D3 in the country. D3's isnt necessarily bad per se, since he has double jumps and can camp like MK. But the second D3 tries to, well, do anything aggressive, it's a stock or a **** ton of dmg.

D3 has tools, albeit they're not very good. Dairing is the like the only safe move he has. Inhaling to the ground, b-sticked perhaps? He can also cg BOTH OF YOU if he manages a grab on popo.

Double jump dair ftw? lol...
