Take your time, I just wanted to see if you knew what the game plan was lol.

Oh and mannnnn, the Unity Ruleset discussion thread is exploding again. I'm probably going to be posting all day again lol

Well to be fair, you guys did post something that's fairly polarizing. Even though it shouldn't be polarizing (I think you guys are taking the right direction), it's pretty revolutionary in terms of the community.

When the splitting talk dies down, I'll be championing coaching/stalling arguments again soon enough :)

I can't say I disagree with you but something needed to be done. And thanks ;)

And you may have plenty of time to get your arguments together...lol This isn't going to a one day argument. <_<

EDIT: Hylian, I should just make a new thread instead. That was the old thread and all the dumb posts that were made in it are gone.

I figured out a non soft turn tripless CG for heavies :) :) :)

P Fthrow > Nana Regrab > Nana Buffer Bthrow > Popo Standing regrab with no turn > Repeat

I've been doing this for a while using P Dthrow, just sayin' <3. There's even been videos of me doing it. I learned it because it's damn close to a universal CG timing. Good to tell people to do it though. I use it to generate space a lot, or get away from grenades.

Rather than standing still do a reverse dash pivot grab. It makes it "trippable", but it's better than getting blown up and is the easiest "grenade avoider" I know of.

You can manipulate the spacing on it really easily, Nana's bthrow seems to be very generous in its spacing window.

hey guys i need some pocket tips for my pocket ICs vs marth!
i have to play vs mr.r in pools tomorrow and i feel very uncomfortable with snake vs marth...
i think its more possible to get 3 grabs than to win with snake vs him..
so what to keep in mind vs marth?

Hylian, team with me at SiiS. :-D
I'm not going. All the other SiiS's were horribly TO'ed and I really don't want to go to another, neither does anyone that went with me last time. It's a bad experience.

Sadness. More money for me, but sadness.

Shield early, don't try to powershield anything as long as nana is alive. If nana is separated...good luck getting her back.

Just play very patient. I wouldn't recommend desyncing that much, just walk and stuff. You will be able to grab landing fairs on your shield (Assuming he is in your grab range) because he is hitting 2 shields. He won't be able to up-b

Running spotdodge while at low % is pretty good against marth unlike most other characters. If he dancing blades it's really easy to DI behind him with the momentum and get a free grab, if he does an attack you get a free grab unless he reads the spotdodge and you are at high %.

Don't spam it obviously.

Blizzard walling with retreating blizzards is a pain for marth, when he tries to beat it with fair if nana is blizzarding you can DSG it.

You can get a lot of easy damage from uairs, punish his full hops. If he's just SH fairing then let him wall and approach slowly, or if you trust your timing you can run in and PS the fair and it will get you a grab(it won't hit nana if you PS out of a dash rather than defensively).

Dtilt is good for edgeguarding as well as desynched IB's. When you are recovering look at his position on stage. If he's right by the edge then you should try to either sweetspot the edge with squall(hard) or go over him and DI into the stage when he hits you. If you are in killing % and under the stage just Belay. If he's farish away just belay.

When you hit marth with squall make sure to mash so that you rise as you are hitting him. This way if he's trying to DI out and dolphin slash(he will) he won't be able to.

Just some quick tips for you.

Practice your cg timing on Marth on training mode for a couple days now, and maybe against lvl 9 CPUs to put some pressure on you so you'll be ready to not finally land a grab and drop the cg first try:/

see, noobs can give tips too, even though i'm sure he's already doing that.
A tips a tip.
