You definitely would have had it if you had been doing the meep method of throwing the nades during the cg instead of your own little version of it which isn't quite as efficient. Here's a good demonstration as to how to correctly deal with a nade during a cg by throwing it away.Idk why I just didn't stay ic lol. Do they have jeffs bowser vs seibrik lucario up yet

The other method is what I refer to as the Hylian method, which is dthrowing with nana and running past and pivot grabbing with popo. If done correctly you slide far enough so the nade wont hit you. I can find a vid of it if you haven't seen it/would like one.
Besides that you were playing it fine imo. At least well enough to beat Gallax.

nah i coulda beat gallax iif i woulda just went ic game 3. i know the mu im just a idiot and panic. hrnut trians me in that mu all the time. but i never knew that was meeps method and also i never knew hylian did that to i stop doing it because id missed timed the piviot grab on snake but its been so long i just for got about it

i do okay on my brother, but hes diddy isnt that good. he plays the meta game tho. I mean, sprint, and dash attack, popo will take the hit, nana will catch the nanner. pull her back in, do it again, she'll throw when you grab the next. thats if they just do stage naner play.
