Yes you can, you just have to dashgrab before your opponent goes to the ground.

As to the recovery business: It's really just a matter of paying attention to your position relative to the ledge as you start getting close. Before you start going back on stage with squall you need to make sure that the feet of the climbers are above the ledge.

Yeah upb just seems more reliable to my as a rcovery. I get the whole you can't get WoP'nd this way but yeah. Blizzard I doubt you can di the grab that fast effectivly, but I could see di'ing the fair and teching.
