OKKK sooo as I said in the SNY1 thread...

What do people think the crews should be for internationals.
According to Jolteon it's 7 people for each team, I think it's fair to sa the guaranteed 4 for crews would be

1. Professor Pro
2. Fuzzyness
3. Edwin (Retroking2000)
4. Swizzy (He will hold stocks really good and perform good if we put him against the right people)
5. ???
6. ???
7. ???

Potential 3 left (Sorry if I miss out some people)
Jo3
AmcD
Tamoo
Kone
Gantz
Jolteon
Alpha Dash
J3ly

Soooo who thinks who deserves what lol?

loool Eff you....edited.

Now state your opinion.

ALSO CHARLES OR KONE
PLEASE COPY THIS INTO THE SMASH NEEDS YOU WEBSITE ON THE RULES OF PLAY PAGE.
CHARLES COPIED IT FROM SOME EUROPEANS AND THERE IS TERRIBLE SPELLING MISTAKES IN IT AND IT JUST LOOKS SO UNPROFESSIONAL FOR A SERIOUS EVENT :ohwell: SO I CORRECTED IT

Pools Rules: There is a lot of misunderstanding with pools so I want to give some clear ground rules.
If for some reason 2 players seem to have ended up in a tie we will review who wins in this order:
1. Number of sets won, if this is a tie we will go to the second factor
2. Total matches won, if this is also a tie we will go to the last factor
3. The winner of the set that the tied players played against each-other.
4. In case of a 3-way tie and the first 3 factors are all equal, there will be a rematch for those 3 players

ALSO THE REGISTER PAGE IS NOT FULLY CLEAR IMO

In the beginning it tells you to register your.....

- Full name
- Nickname/Gamertag
- Date of birth
- Country
- Address

But when you actually are typing it in the thingy where the money stuff is and the selection it says....

Real Name + Gamertag + Country

I'm not trying to get at you lot obviously im just trying to help out cos I myself got a bit confused at one point.

I think the top 3 of the list, remember we can have 10 members then choose the 7 we want, some call it cheating, i call it hosting.

But ya myself and Alan can cause some damage and anyone not used to playing against Tom's...style could be seriously ****ed over.

I think we should wait and decide after GT3 (the results should help a lot in deciding who we should play).

But atm I would say: Jo3/AmcD, Tamoo and Gantz.

True, I kinda agree on that but the list making now is just purely for interest but the list will be alot easier to confirm after GT3.

I think Gantz, Alpha Dash or Jolteon could potentially make it on the list if they prove they are good enough by GT3.

i know Gantz is a good player, we played and i have alot of respect for him but i have to say i won and i honestly believe myself to be the better fox especially seeing as i have a tonne more European experience.

Fair enough, I still think you are more viable for the position then he is atm...

But yeah as I said I think he could POTENTIALLY earn the spot by his performance at GT3 to see how much he has improved.....cos he's improved alot but it's a thing where he has to perform under tournament pressure and environment.

So yeah, be prepared for Gantz to take your position if he proves his worth lol :)

But I also know you have the EU experince as well which doesn't have.

I just have a gut feeling that gantz will do better at gt3, which isn't the best thing to go off but since we're only speculating right now I'm going to anyway. Though, you're right when saying you have a lot of Eu experience, and... Gantz can be easily taunted.

Serious business though, I see myself, Brado, Yeniths and Calzum (if you play well and FINISH YOUR COMBOS) getting through pools at this. Top 16 at least son!

It's a shame I'm not going to be there. You have to be totally aware of strengths and weaknesses.

My breakdown -

Fuzzy - The floaty killer. Use charles to take out Marth or Peach players, avoid using him against high level fox's.

Prof - The shine gimper. Use Prof to kill off someone with a few stocks left that is a tough opponent and eat up a nice chunk of the next player.

Edwin - The solid snake. Edwin is sort of the anti-fuzz. He shouldn't be used on any Peach players, he's experienced in Marth ditto and hates other floaties.

Swizzy - The stranger. Swizzy should be used on Sheik mains, never on falco's or falcon's.

I dunno that's what I think of those people. The rest I don't know very well at all.

A fuking disgusting shame you're not gonna be there lol.
I was actually complaining about it ALOTTT like a month ago cos its just gay lol :( but then Swizzy said atleast we have some of our other top players and other countries might not have there best....but still lol.

And this list is extremely true and I like it!!!
I was thinking the same thing about myself with the whole thing of me taking out a good person with very few stocks so i'm actually glad to see that someonelse agrees with it lol and also that he next person will receive some punishment.

There's quite a few matches on my channel although none of them are of Brado lol (just think of Tamoo's jiggs, and there you go).
Ok....well the first match which i'm watching now which is you vs the peach part 1
You have to learn to space the Nairs as a CF player....which basically means you space it so only CF shin/foot hits the player as you were rushing in with them which is really unsafe and can actually just be CC'd to punish....like at 1:32 you got sheild grabbed cos of poor spacing....

1:40 you could have actually Uair to knock the peach back and slightly horizontal/downards lol and also smash peach D-smash up as you don't get hit as much and it gets you out of it as early percents.

Some of the time you were moving a bit clunky and I don't wanna sound like a tech head but improving your movement and your tech skill with captain falcon will extremely allow you to do alot more in gameplay......I must say I did expect you to be worse so I am actually slightly impressed lol.

But you have to really stop rushing in and learn to space your attacks to make it difficult for your opponent to do anything...the was the major problem I saw which would mess you up if you were to play in tournament...the other things are usual things which will improve in time if you carry on playing. SOOOO CARRY ON PLAYING lol!!!

lol Yeah I look forward to playing you there as well.

And yeah you defintely are getting better. I thought Yeniths was ALOTTTT better then you but I guess I was wrong and its good to see other scenes doing pretty good without much of a top player to lead them.

But seriously you need to learn not to rush in and space your attacks because atm that was your main downfall which will get you HEAVILYYYY punished in tournament.

Also throwing up a wall of space attacks makes it hard to get inside of falcon and this is an example of a wall thrown up which makes it hard for the opponent (even though the wall was penetrated after awhile lol) but you have to learn to space your attacks and learn when to rush in...not just spamming aerials for the sake of spamming it cos you think it's the right thing to do lol and when you get people in a grab or something...YOU DO SOME FUKING DAMAGE TO THEM lol

Anyway this is the example of a wall being thrown up even though Hax flops a times, he still plays pretty good....

Each international crew will be allowed a squad of ten players in which the seven starters can be rotated per crew match. I would probably suggest that it would look like; charles/edwin/prof/swizzy/alan and joe as definite starters and I would propose that is a pretty balanced team. The last member of the team would probably be chosen out of whoever makes the final four for the squad based upon who we were playing/their current form/gt3 placings and character mains.

I would also point out that playing at a european tournament is vastly different to UK tournaments. You have to get used to playing a greater variety of styles, character mains, playing a lot more tournament matches (pool matches matter) and dealing with crown pressure.

Saying all the above I should clearly be in the ten lol. I no longer suffer from tournament jitters or stress ^_^ lol

What I will quite honestly point out about crews about myself tying into what kone said is that I play against the player rather than the playstyle, I dunno, it's quite hard to explain, it's more like i pick up on mistakes rather than adapt to their playstyle, which may not be best suited for european tournament play.

nevertheless i'd still like the opportunity so i just gotta prove myself at gt3

i'll fight you (literally... like in a car park) for that spot :)

if it's 7 v 7 its gonna be tough to call that team, unless we can have subs like i'm pretty sure they had subs at fc 3 or 6 in crews and the kish's pretty much invented crews!

Will - Each country can have a squad of ten in which seven have to be chosen prior to each crew match. Cant have more than that as its likely that most countries may not even make that ten. Can't give us too much advantage as we'll easily have the largest numbers.

Picking up from where Tam left out there is another thing you have to remember about crews. Which is whether, as a player, you are someone that dominates an opponent early on or whether you find you adapt over the duration of a set. You only have four stock to do as muchn damage as possible potentially against different opponents ^_^

Also, likely to be some old guard such as jam, ryan and Z at this whooppeeee ^_^

sounds good man, tho we should enter just as England, we don't need to hide under the UK flag anymore. If the rest of the UK had been decent folk and supported our lads in South Africa i might not be saying this, but as they take every opportunity to say "**** you England" i think it's fitting they get left out ;)

after all they're all wannabe englishmen anyway.

If there are enough Scots coming to form an international crew they are more than welcome to. To be honest we need an 8th crew to make up and eight man bracket so could be a good thing :)

can i come on wed?
As said before....you are of a caucasian decent so.....jkin loool.

Yeah it would be good if you can come, im really liking your improvement ALOTTT lately so I would like to see how you fare against other people.

And JJlinyard I just got back from playing smash at Alpha Dash and its a bit late but I will try to give advice on the vids tomorrow :).
It would be good if the community as a whole could give advice to people when they watch there vidoes just so we can get the community improving and motivated together. :)

Edit - Also this smashfest on wednesday The Last Dragon is coming to it as he said he's gonna train now for GT3 and then he's gonna quit (even though we won't let him lol)

So, so far it's
Alpha Dash
Professor Pro
The Last Dragon
Jolteon
JJlinayrd
The Lust

and tbh it's prob best if only one more person comes as there wouldn't be much room.

My slot? Actually that's not really ideal since I'd prefer to bring people with me. Doc practice? :dizzy:
Yeah I know...I just said something on your smashboards wall thingy but his room is REALLY small and has two TV's if there was like 8 people up in there people would literally have to stand lol.

But nearly every sunday is a smashfest at this smasher called Bishkin who lives in an area called Southfields on the district which is easy (and free :D) to get to from Wimbeldon as there is no barriers at his station or if you get the tram from croydon to wimbeldon and walk to the train area and stay on the train for like two stops and then your at Southfields.....

There's ALOTTT more room in his house plus recording equipment with commentary lol so I will def be calling you about that one.
