tech skill is a minor, its the fact that he is stealing and applying mindgames that took me a long time to develop in a matter of hours. and then changing them... trust me prof, u have no idea.

dont forget this is somebody who has MUCH MUCH more experience being at the top than you do. well actually u have no experience of being at the top do ya. unreal has been playing games alot longer than us, racing game or not. he was the best in the world at 2 DIFFERENT games, thats ****ing insane and he knows how to steal and kin-ive his way to the top

I've played him, I played him like 5 days ago for good amount of hours to know what type of player he is....

Unreal is one of the top Mario Kart DS players and also has a few world records on Mario Kart Wii.

i am the only succussfull mid tier main atm, this also generates hype
unreal simply swam away from his initial school of fish, this does not yet generate hype
king has an unbelievably loud voice. this gives us the option to generate more hype
pms plays samus and to be quite frank asside from watching his tournament games, i didnt really see his loose a game all day last monthly

gantz - laser camps and does shine+bair walls alot. took me around 30 seconds to find a way around his strategy at which he choked like a little girl and got 2stocked twice on ps both times and went to the losers bracket

prof - ur ok i guess, but ur inability to play opponents without sandbagging unless there are stakes is counter productive to the development of ur crew. its selfish, and hahahahahaha dude ur like 5ft nothing

alpha dash - he is good against spacies im not going to lie - but cmon man wave smashes and poorly executed chaingrabs are easy business, even i can beat spacies with ICs o_o (tho crabman beat me last time, the last games i whiped out my IC's) my advice is take that brain and pick another character, because prof is stringing u along when he clearly knows you shoulden't be maining a character unless they are clearly BORN for you like mario was for me

last - consistency with playing is important in smash. i play smash 3/4 times a week with unreal atm, it shows. last hasnt played properly in a while, it showed when tesco crew spanked his moneh maker

Before I respond to the rest of you post I would specifically like to respond to this bit which proves you know nothing and your fool in it's prime....

I don't sandbag against my crew, I sandbagg against people LIKE YOU cos I don't care about and I know you lot want to play me at my best but I see no reason to do it, so for you to say its counter productive to the development of my crew and im being selfish proves you know nothing.

I always ask to see my crew and I play them in serious sets for their training and I ask them what character they want to play of mine so they get experienced in each matchup.....next time you make a statement with such certainity packed behind it....

be certain you're right.

Basically you could still be watching videos of top falcos in depth and just seeing what they do in certain situations....then your improvement should not drop or be stunned.
Unless you take it in and just don't perform, then that's your own fault.

The problem is (and I think this may be partly due to smoking draw whilst playing, so I need to learn to say no!) is that I tend to a lot of the time go into autopilot mode and focus on technical stuff as oppose to the opponent, and it takes me a while to shift this focus - like a few hours or so. I do take in lots of stuff when watching videos online, but because I don't have the constant practice of playing at a higher standard, I'm generally not quick enough to think about whatis happening in the match and be able to pull off the right things at the right times. Basically, it's down to the mental agility - this is what I want to improve, and the only way I see myself doing it is by playing a lot more frequently, ideally every day lol.
Luckily Fandemz and smashysmashy are back in the next week so they will be over to play more regularly but Prof, it would be good to get some coaching at some point. I'm free most evenings from 6pm so you should come over in the week! Need to be playing agaisnt the incredibly gay fox shines to improve lol!
