Job 7: Attack Typing

While Break moves and ailments exist, I think PXZ can benefit from more traditional RPG elements to add to the strategic gameplay. If implemented, each character's attacks will have different properties, such as "fire", "sword", "gun" or "fist". Different units will have different resistances to these attack types that can be modified with in-game skills and equipment.

I'm actually on board with the trio attacks in some way, i once though of an idea for a PXZ3 which had that, but there not every character gets one, just a trio of characters who either: a. belong in the same series, or generally fit the theme of characters.
Like for example characters from Sega's Judgment and Capcom's Ace attorney having a trio attack due to both dealing with courtrooms and law enforcement.

Job 8:

A fighting mode sounds interesting. Probably wouldnt be anything expansive like a big name fighting game but it would be interesting.

Job #7: Solo Units & Trio Attacks
Solo Units being able to move independently had been a thing in NAMCO x Capcom, but not in PxZ. Here, Solo Units have their own sets of attacks, but instead of Super Attacks, they use a Finishing Attack after every 3 moves they make; they also cannot use Multi Attacks. In addition, specific Solo Units can team up with specific Pair Units for Trio Attacks, which are Super Attacks that require that specific Solo Unit.

Job #8: Player vs. Player
Basically, a mode where 2 players (locally and/or online) can form their own teams of characters and put them against each other. You can select any map from the game.

Pair for Akira Yuki - Jacky Bryant!
Jacky Bryant (Virtua Fighter).

Jacky Bryant (ジャッキー・ブライアント, Jakkī Buraianto) (born August 28, 1970; San Francisco, California)[1][2], nicknamed the "Blue Flash", Jacky is an indy car racer, the brother of Sarah Bryant and is featured as a playable character in Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing.

Jacky fights using Bruce Lee's incredibly versatile Jeet Kune Do style, allowing him a few of Bruce Lee's actual techniques that he chose to perfect during his lifetime. The most important aspect of Jacky's game are his combos, which can be utilized to repeatedly strike and inflict massive damage.

Jacky has a hot passion for speed, to a point where it extends to everything in his life. He considers himself "faster than lightning", and has a very low tolerance for anything or anyone he perceives as being too slow. In any situation he finds himself in, he never loses his confidence, especially when it comes to Sarah, his friends, or his racing career. Jacky enters the World Fighting Tournament in an effort to put an end to Judgement 6, the organization responsible for all the troubles he and his sister have endured throughout the series.

Jacky Represents SEGA like his partner Akira Yuki.

Why Jacky?
Why Jacky bryant as Akira's partner?
First, because they teamed up in Sonic and SEGA Allstars Racing as racers that drive Ferrari from OutRun and they are rivals throughout the VF series. Plus, it would be really cool if Akira teamed up again with Akira Yuki like back in 2010.

Job 9: Akira's Partner - Kage-Maru (Virtua Fighter)

Kage-Maru is one of the playable fighters in Virtua Fighter (1993) and just like Akira, appeared in every installment after it. Just like in previous PXZ games, his playstyle is mainly based on his earlier movesets while his design is taken from the latest entry in the series: Virtua Fighter 5.

Kage-Maru was Akira's partner before and for a good reason. Not only does he and Akira have a deep and respectful rivalry for each other's skills, but Kage-Maru is also canonically the fighter with the single most amount of wins in the Virtua Fighter Tournaments, being one of the 3 characters who ever achieved this honor, with Akira being the other.

On top of being a highly popular character and having personal connections to the game's final boss Dural, Kage-Maru also has fun importance to SEGA as a whole. His voice actor Takenobu Mitsuyoshi is the composer for several Sega titles such as Shenmue, and Daytona USA and also sang some of the most iconic theme songs of the company.

Also, ninjas are cool. Enough said.

Anyway:

Sakura Shinguji's Partner, is Sakura Amamiya, from Sakura Wars.

She first appeared in the newest Sakura Wars game for PS4, and as such hasn't shown up alongside the other girls in crossover appearances, while Shinguji has appeared in both Project X Zone's as well as Super Robot Wars 30 Amamiya hasnt showed up alongside her.

Her backstory is that in her childhood Shinguji saved her life, thus sparking a lifelong adoration. To the point where in the present day Amamiya took Shinguji's old mech now that Shinguji is presumed dead after not being seen for over a decade.

I can totally see Shinguji appearing in the future and meeting Amamiya and the two of them teaming up in PXZ, fighting a certain Sakura wars villain from the PS4 game similar to Kite and Haseo's story in PXZ2.

Morrigan's Partner - Lilith

Lilith is Morrigan's sister. But it is not a usual family relationship, as Lilith was actually created by Morrigan's father out of part of her soul, in order to contain her power.

Lilith appeared in Namco X Capcom but not the PXZ games. Morrgian got a different partner in each game, Chun-Li in 1 and Demtiri in 2, so we could continue that trend, and we could reunite the pair. Lilith's story could lead to a lot of interesting interactions.

Job 9: KOS-MOS's partner - Shion Uzuki

I fully expect us to give KOS-MOS a partner from Xenoblade, but I'm going to submit Shion anyways because it's fun to brainstorm. Shion is KOS-MOS's main designer and wife. They have a deep connection with each other despite one being an android, and the two cannot function without the other. In fact, Shion is the main protagonist of the Xenosaga series, being the character you start out with and story you explore the most. She fights using her M.W.S., a weird arm gun shield looking thing designed by her coworker Miyuki. One of KOS-MOS's main attacks in these crossover games is Lunar Blade, which was originally one of Shion's ultimate Tech Attacks in Episode I. In Project X Zone 3, she would have attacks from throughout the series just as KOS-MOS does, and just like KOS-MOS, she will use her appearance from Episode III.

Oh yeah, and Job 8:

Minigame mode. Something a little lighthearted to do with the characters you unlock throughout the story. As you progress through the game, you'll unlock minigames and characters, which can be used in the minigames. They'd be simple minigames played with the characters' overworld sprites, nothing complex like Mario Party. Completing minigames with certain characters can unlock items and other nice bonuses for the main story. Kind of based on the UTDP mode of DRV3.

Ryu's Partner - Ken Masters

Yeah, I'm just going to use this submission for the most expected partner for Ryu. But the fact that hes so expected (and arguably, might be boring for some people as a result) is a direct consequence of his iconic status and speaks volumes of his relationship with Ryu. If you've been living under a rock for the past 30 years, Ken is Ryu's best friend and training partner. They've largely shared the same moveset over the years, with them getting slightly more and more distinct by the appearance. Compared to the balanced Ryu, Ken has always been rather rushdown-focused, with a variety of moves to pull from that compliment this philosophy in gameplay design, such as his Shinryuken and world-famous Shippu Jinraikyaku (think of EVO moment 37 here).

To compliment Ryu, his design would be directly based on his design in the Street Fighter 2 and Street Fighter 3 games. As for his theme, I'd largely prefer if we'd remix either his original SF2 theme in the same way SFV or Alpha 2 did, or a new sweet remix of Jazzy NYC '99. And well, that's pretty much it. If there's gonna be both Ryu and Terry in your game, might as well put Kenneth in it too!

Job #9 - Nero (Dante’s Partner)

For Project x Zone 3, Dante will be partnering with none other than his nephew and fellow co-protagonist, Nero. Nero is the son of Vergil and a former member of the Order of the Swords. As of Devil May Cry V, he’s grown into a more seasoned demon hunter and has joined DMC. Compared to the more laid-back wacky wahoo pizza man, Nero is much more stern and short-tempered, making him the perfect foil for Dante. Nero’s weapons of choice are the Red Queen, a sword that can ignite on fire, and the Blue Rose, Nero’s custom made gun that can fire two shots simultaneously. He also has a cybernetic right arm called the Devil Breaker, which allows him to channel his demonic powers. With Nero becoming even more prominent in the series thanks to his role in DMCV, I can’t think of a better character to pair Dante with than him.
