A game as big as Pokémon makes total sense for E3 2006, but for this iteration I wanted to go for some more variety in the Trainer’s Pokémon. This time, Charizard is accompanied by Totodile and Grovyle. They would also not have the type effectiveness or stamina systems at all.

Also, Leaf would be an alternate costume as well.

One of the most iconic games Nintendo has ever created, to the point where it's eventual Smash inclusion 4 instalments in was arguably the longest overdue in the series' history. Absolutely a big pull for E3, especially in 2006 when NES nostalgia was the big thing.

Zero Suit Samus

Seeing Samus in action without her suit was pretty cool, especially considering its 2006 and i kind of remember myself and friends being aware samus was a human but unaware of what she looked like or what she was capable of without her suit.

Nintendo character submission:
Little Mac (Punch-Out!!!)
1681827574031.png
Little Mac is a protagonist of Nintendo's boxing game series "Punch-Out!!!" and he is the youngest and smallest boxer from Bronx.
His motive is to win the boxing tournament by defeating boxers from around the world.

Little Mac is one of popular 1980's Nintendo characters and his series was popular back in the 80's and early 90's. He is considered as one of Nintendo's known arcade characters alongside Mario, Luigi and Donkey Kong.

His moveset would be boxing-themed due to being a boxer himself. He may also use other boxing styles like kickboxing (due to being similar to actual boxing) during most of his attacks.

I feel he would be an interesting and surprising choice for E3 since it might potentially foreshadow a new Punch-Out game in alternate universe version of 2007/2008 and he would his presence may surprise some of fans.

Quick question: can we vote for 4 characters and make it so that the top 4 most popular voices get in? Because the E3 2006 trailer in canon revealed 4 Nintendo newcomers and Snake.
I was thinking of spreading out the jobs for the four E3 2006 newcomers, so only the top 2 will be added this round.

Here are the nominations
Pupp135 Pupp135 King Dedede
DragonRobotKing26 DragonRobotKing26 Ridley
Perkilator Perkilator Pokemon Trainer
Northsouthmap Northsouthmap Villager
Wario Wario Wario Wario Wario Wario Duck Hunt
nirvanafan nirvanafan Zero Suit Samus
FazDude FazDude Wario
Tankman from Newgrounds Tankman from Newgrounds Little Mac

Vote for your three most wanted, where yours is not first.

1. Pokemon Trainer
2. Wario
3. Duck Hunt

Job 2: Submit new stages for the Mario and Kirby franchise.
SSBU-Delfino Plaza.jpg
For the Mario stage, I’ll go with Delfino Plaza as it is in Brawl.

For the Kirby stage, I’ll nominate City Trial, which works like Delfino Plaza.

Little Mac would also have been good for this. Pokemon strikes me more as a mid way through reveal

Unfortunately, Cookie Country is ineligible as it Return to Dreamland was released years after Brawl.

1. Wario
2. Pit
3. Dedede

Since Pit was not nominated, could you please change the 2nd place vote?

Unfortunately, Cookie Country is ineligible as it Return to Dreamland was released years after Brawl.

Since Pit was not nominated, could you please change the 2nd place vote?
My bad, thought it was in earlier games as well,
Will change it to Vegetable Valley with same layout if ok.

By default, the 1-Up Mushroom is our first new item.

Donkey Kong 6
Samus 19
Yoshi 1
Fox 8
Luigi 4
Jigglypuff 3
Bowser 2
Zelda/Sheik 4
Ice Climbers 2
Dr. Mario 1
Pichu 2
Mewtwo 2

Samus and Fox are our two additional veterans revealed in E3 2006.

For Final Smashes, please decide if they should be based on the Smash Ball or a Final Smash Meter.

Job 6: Submit a Classic Mode Layout

I’m fine reusing Melee’s format for Classic Mode, so there is more randomness in it.

Job 7: Submit a stage for Metal Gear

For the Metal Gear Stage, I’ll instead go with Zanzibar Land, which will function like Castle Siege.

The first part of the stage will be the front entrance of the Zanzibar Building, which has a walk-off format. The hazard in this case would be guards attacking the players.

The second part of the stage will be a destroyed Bridge of Sorrow, which effectively has the layout of Beidge of Eldin after the Bridge breaks.

The last part is the Detention Camp, where the harzards are rats and sulphuric acid used to remove the rats.
For this one, I’m nominating one that I used in a previous thread.
