Is anyone else finding it hard to be hyped? The Grinch leak was way better than I expected for final roster, and Vergeben Kencineroar + Square rep is way worse than I expected. I'm feeling anxious instead of excited...

I'm just happy we can finally stop spinning wheels and get some new info/gameplay to analyze and discuss until release.

Nah, because personally as cool as the leak was none of them except Mach Rider and Chorus Kids were like even close to most-wanted for me. As amazing as the leaked roster is, I've made my peace and I feel like truly this is already the best roster ever so anyone they reveal will be a cool new character. Maybe that's Ken and Incineroar. Maybe that's, I don't know, Dante and Sans. Who knows? I just can't wait to find out more about this game and have a fun time playing it when I can.

OK, my predictions for the direct:

- Teamreal wins, but half of the characters in the Grinch leak are DLC

- Spirits mode is something completely different and not even called "Spirits"

- No SSE like mode

- None of the modes from Wii U/ 3DS return, cuz' Sakurai wants each Smash to stand on its own legs

- DLC support will be announced

- DLC includes characters and costumes

- 108 Stages is real

- Break the Targets is character specific and returns

RE: Sora not getting in Smash Bros. due to Disney.

Disney let Wreck-It-Ralph, a character they completely own, into Sonic and Sega All-Stars Racing, a relatively niche game.

I know we like to paint Disney as this strict, corporate, "no fun allowed" type of company, but they're really chill when it comes to using their IPs so long as it's done right.

So, if Sakurai and Normura agree to add Sora into Smash Bros, and they go to Disney and say "yeah we're putting him in the game"

A: There's not much Disney can do but agree since Normura is the one who decides when and where Sora and the Kingdom Hearts IP are used (Mind you, Disney straight up cancelled a mobile Kingdom Hearts game they were making because Normura didn't like it).

B: Why the **** wouldn't Disney let Sora, a character they somewhat own and don't have as much stake in, into Smash Bros., the Infinity Wars of video games?

You'd have to be straight up dumb to pass up the pure profit and exposure you'd get by having your character in that game. It's why all these companies are whoring themselves out to Nintendo: they want a character in Smash Bros.

Meanwhile, Incineroar is literally in the bottom tenth of Pokemon for me. I actually didn't believe the Sun and Moon starter leak because I thought his design looked too bad to be real. (People can like him, everyone is entitled to their opinion, I just don't)

If Grinch turns out not to be real, I reeeeeally hope Verg is wrong still. His roster leak is just the opposite of exciting for me.

See, we just have to agree to disagree. I'm just happy ROB is still in the game and then they added my most-wanted from Sm4sh, Simon, and then the big rumor is they're also adding one of my favorite Pokemon, Incineroar.

I want Isaac for my friends more than anything. At the end of it, even if we don't get all our wants, the game itself has a giant roster and is stuffed full of content and nothing at all is changing that.

I've been certifiably insane for the last few years and can attest it's not that bad, it's just a bit rough when you hear the voices and see 'them' every soo often.

Never going to happen, but it's what I want.
