Official Smash Ultimate Discussion

Almost one month has passed since release. In retrospect....

  • This is by far the best Smash ever. Like, I don't even know how they will top this.

  • Pretty freakin' good; I have a few qualms over things like internet play, balancing issues, etc.

  • It's ok, but [insert Smash game here] is better.

  • I'd rather play Parcheesi.

I so desperately want the SNES thing to be true. I've never gotten to play an SNES game before (besides Super Mario Kart)

I think Sylux is gonna be added as a spirit when Metroid Prime 4 comes near. It'll probs be an event. I wouldn't get my hopes up for playable Sylux.

The fact that someone went through all this trouble to make fake Direct that includes headlines and when each game gets announced, as well as fake games amuses me more than it probably should.

Also, just because there might be coding for it, doesn't mean they'll use it.

The 3DS has native support for running GBA games, but was only ever used for 10 games exclusively released to "Nintendo 3DS Ambassadors" in 2011, and then the feature was never brought up or used ever again.

DKC is a strange omission. I think the whole trilogy may come all together at a later date.

Anyways, what's the deal with DLC stages (without characters). I think we may see one or two in the next direct.

Metriod is good, but I have really basic needs that aren't being met and its bothersome.

Miyamoto just won't quit will he? I mean he JUST HATES DKC.

Or he might be completely absent from the game, like Isaac in Smash 4. Though, I agree with you, a playable Sylux feels like a stretch at this point.

(However, if he's in, he'd definitely be unexpected.)

Miyamoto is a genius game designer, but he has a history of saying/doing some really wacky stuff.

The man is a genius but he has to be the most bitter man in games when comes to his own stuff.

Tbh, I still believe. The Steve-Ryu-Doomslayer leak was proven fake recently (the poster claims he got item from Reddit)
So the whole "Sylux is completely absent while Kanden and Trace are prominently featured" argument still holds strong

He puts a lot of restrictions on his teams in an attempt to make them more creative, but sometimes it just make worse games (Sticker Star). He even denied the idea of Smash Bros at first.
